HEAF

HEAF, pronounced: hēf, stands for Head East and Forgive. HEAF is an indie rock / dream pop band from Pittsburgh, PA. The band has created a unique sound since forming in 2012. Just months after forming, the members put together six songs that they would record for their first EP album, Shades, over the summer of 2013 at Sacred Sound Recording Studio in Martins Ferry, Ohio. HEAF consistently played a number of shows and music festivals throughout 2013 and 2014. HEAF continued a steady pace of live shows in 2014, including the Move Music Festival in Albany, New York and started opening for national touring acts on a regular basis. They were added to the 2014 Day & Night Festival in Cleveland, Ohio and the MidPoint Music Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio to play with the likes of Chromeo, The Afghan Whigs, The Raveonettes, Panda Bear, Real Estate, and many more. The band's second six-track EP album, Full Bloom, was released independently in early Fall 2014. 2015 began the next writing period and re-invention of sound. www.heafband.com Head East and Forgive est. 2012.
