JR Wolf

The group’s original music is energetic, storytelling roots rock with a dose of the blues and a touch of reggae. It sounds like blending the styles of Tom Petty and CCR and adding a splash of Sublime.

Jr Wolf released their self-titled debut in September of 2014. The album features twelve original self-produced tracks that are diverse as they are ambitious. The constant shifts in genre keep the listener not knowing what to expect, yet tasteful arrangement is the singularity and strength of the effort.

The band has seen several lineup changes over the years and this has helped define the evolution and range of the group's live sound. Jr Wolf has the network and experience to provide different acts for given situations.

Mostly, the group performs as a three piece.

Jr Wolf has played hundreds of shows, many around their home area of Central Pennsylvania, with several recurring visits to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The summer of 2017 brought growth into Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. The band is a repeat feature on ABC 27 and has provided pregame entertainment several times for the Harrisburg Senators.

Jr Wolf has opened for #1 Country Billboard artist Frankie Ballard at The Chameleon Club and they've also shared the stage with popular PA jam bands Flux Capacitor and The Derek Woods Band. They've had airplay on the following Central PA FM radio stations: 105.7 The X, The River 97.3, WIXQ 91.7 and WVYC 88.1 The band has also earned national level recognition with radio play on KFMU 104.1 in CO and KGLT 91.9 in MT.

Jr Wolf is in the studio in the fall of 2017 and winter 2018 working on an upcoming original EP (or more) due for release in late summer or fall of 2018. Their continual dedication and respect to their craft has propelled their success and should serve them well for their anticipated sophomore effort.
