Nuckin' Futs

Nuckin' Futs es un banda barcelonesa de thrash metal fundada en la ciudad de Barcelona en Septiembre del 2012. Sus miembros fundadores son: Tolo Juan – Vocalista Hèctor Rodriguez – Batería Oscar Esteve – Guitarra Ritmico João Sassetti – Guitarra solista Sergio López – Bajista (Renato Espinoza -Segundo bajista) (Marc Reig – Bajista inicial) Nacieron entre los años 1988-1992. Tienen influencias de grupos thrash como Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Overkill, Exodus, Testament, Municipal Waste, Pantera, Anthrax, Sodom, etc. Grabaron su primer EP Evilution, que consta de 6 canciones, 3 de las cuales eran proyectos de bandas anteriores, en Moontower Studios, con Javier Félez Rodríguez, en 7 días repartidos en dos semanas, del 30 de Enero hasta el 7 de Febrero de 2013. --- Tolo Juan nació en Ibiza el 5 de Febrero de 1992. Descubrió el metal de la mano de System of a Down, Slipknot y KoRn, aunque más adelante se decantó por bandas más duras como In Flames, Metallica y Megadeth entre muchas otras de otros géneros dentro del metal como Judas Priest. Tocó la flauta travesera desde los 8 hasta los 15 años. Empezó su carrera como vocalista cantando en una banda de metal en su Formentera natal llamada Project Blood (nu metal) a los 15 años. Tocó también en otra banda llamada B.O.C. (Borrachos Orinando Cerveza) de estilo thrash, y cuando se mudo a Barcelona a los 19 años ingresó en Road junto con Hèctor a la batería (Metal Progresivo) hasta llegar a Nuckin' Futs. Sus influencias musicales actuales son Megadeth, Metallica, Overkill, Lamb of God, Slayer y Scar Symmetry. --- Hèctor Rodríguez nació en Barcelona el 11 de mayo de 1991. Sus anteriores bandas fueron Bastards (Thrash Metal) y Road (Metal Progresivo). La banda que le abrió las puertas al metal fue Metallica, en concreto a los 16 con Metal Militia, Kill 'em All. Lo que más escucha en estos momentos es Lamb of God, Havok, Testament, Exodus y Overkill. Empezó a tocar la batería cuando un colega suyo se compró una guitarra y le animó a empezar con la batería y, así, su carrera como músico. --- Oscar Esteve nació y hace vida en Mataró (cerca de Barcelona) en julio del 1991. Ha tocado en muchas bandas de estilos diferentes (Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, y hasta un grupo de covers) pero el estilo que predomina en sus bandas es el Thrash Metal. Antiguo bajista de Bastards, y ex-guitarrista de Elathan (Black Metal), en 2012 consiguió fundar junto a Hèctor, Tolo y, posteriormente, João y Marc, Nuckin' Futs, donde ejerce actualmente de guitarrista rítmico. Entró en el metal por el camino épico influenciado por bandas de Power Metal y Heavy Clásico como Helloween, Judas Priest, Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden o Saxon. Actualmente sus influencias son más del camino Thrash, incluyendo los clásicos: Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Tankard, Exodus, junto con bandas más nuevas como: Angelus Apatrida, Crisix, Havok, Warbringer o Revocation (entre muchos otros). Empezó como bajista pero terminó decidiendo que la guitarra le permitía expresar más sus composiciones y pensamientos musicales. --- João Sassetti nació en Lisboa 1988. Encontró su pasión por el heavy metal a la temprana edad de los 9 años cuando llegó a sus manos el álbum de Ride the Lightning de Metallica, el cual hizo surgir su amor por la música y por el Thrash Metal. Muy influenciado por grupos de la década de los 80's como Metallica, Sepultura, Slayer, Annihilator y Megadeth se enamoró de la guitarra eléctrica y de los solos a manos de los grandes maestros del heavy. A los 16 años le regalaron su primera guitarra y empezó su proceso de autoaprendizaje y extensión musical. Con 19 años tuvo la oportunidad de ir a estudiar a Barcelona donde empezó su formación musical a nivel profesional. Su deseo por formar un grupo no se realizó hasta que ingresó en Nuckin' Futs el 2012. --- Sergio López nació el 21 de Marzo de 1992 en Sabadell. Desde pequeño y por influencia de su padre, comenzó escuchando grupos como Scorpions, Queen y Deep Purple. De este último tenía el Made in Japan, y fue a partir de ese disco que le entraron ganas de aprender a tocar el bajo. Pasaron bastantes años hasta que llegó la oportunidad de tocar el bajo y cuando llego empezó tocando punk rock. Sin embargo fue obteniendo influencias de Thrash y Death metal (sobretodo Megadeth, Death, Carcass y Sepultura) con lo que le entraron ganas de tener una banda de thrash. Después de estar tocando en una banda de Metalcore (Empires to Ashes) llegó el momento del thrash con Reek, grupo con el que se grabaron dos discos (Rubbish, Necro). Con Reek duró hasta 2015, momento en el que después de estar tocando Hard Rock con Sneak Peek durante un año, llegó el momento de entrar en Nuckin' Futs. Influencias a parte de las nombradas son King Crimson, Tool, Mastodon, Gojira, Metallica, Atheist, Coroner, Kool & the Gang, entre otras. ----------------------------------- Nuckin' Futs is a Thrash Metal band formed in the city of Barcelona in September of 2012. Members Biography : Tolo Juan was born in Ibiza on the 5th of February 1992. He discovered Metal music from groups like System of a Down, Slipknot and Korn, although his taste for extreme Metal changed when bands like In Flames, Metallica and Megadeth were brought to him and also many others of the genre, older, like Judas Priest He played the Flute from 8 to 15 years old. Started his career as a Singer in a Metal band called Project Blood, in his home town of Formentera, with the age of 15. Also played in a Thrash metal band entituled B.O.C (Borracho Orinando Cerveza). At the age of 19, Tolo moved to Barcelona, where he formed a group called Road (Progressive Metal) until he joined and formed Nuckin' Futs. His actual music influences are : Megadeth, Overkill, Metallica, Lamb of God, Slayer and Scar Symmetry. --- Hector Rodríguez was born in Barcelona on May 11th of the year 1991. His previous bands were Bastards (Thrash metal) and Road (progressive metal). His taste for Heavy metal music started when listened to Metallica's "Kill'em All" at the age of 16. His favorite bands today are: Animals as Leaders, Warbringer, Havok, Testament, Exodus and Overkill. Hector started his career as a musician when a friend, who recently had bought a guitar, convinced him to play drums. --- Oscar Esteve was born on July 1991 and currently lives in Mataró (near Barcelona). Have played in many bands of different styles (Hard rock, Heavy Metal, also cover bands) but most of all Thrash Metal. Former bass player of the band Bastards, ex-guitar player of Elathan (Black metal), on the year 2012 was able to contact and form a new band with Hèctor, Tolo, and later João and Marc, that would become Nuckin' Futs - playing as a rhythm guitarist. Early influenced by Power Metal and Classic Heavy metal bands like Helloween, Judas Priest, Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden and Saxon, although recently his main and favorite style would be Thrash Metal including the classics : Megadeth, Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Tankard, Exodus. Also a follower of recent Thrash bands like Angelus Apatrida, Crisix, Havok, Warbringer and Revocation (among many others). Oscar started his career as a bass player ending up playing the electric guitar allowing him to express more of his musical knowledge and compositions. --- João Sassetti was born in Lisbon (Portugal) on January 1988. Found his passion for Heavy Metal at the young age of 9 when the album Ride the Lightning (Metallica) reaches his hands and ears, awaking his love for music and Thrash Metal. Very influenced by bands of the 80's decade like Metallica, Sepultura, Slayer, Annihilator and Megadeth, he fell in love with the sound of the electric guitar and the Solos in the hands of the great masters and shredders of Heavy Metal. At the age of 16, he received his first electric guitar and started the process of self-learning skills and musical extension. At the age of 19, arrived the opportunity to study in Barcelona, where he started a Professional music career. But his wish to form an original band wasn't accomplished until he joined and formed the band Nuckin' Futs, at the age of 24, in 2012. --- Sergio López was born in Sabadell (Barcelona) on March 1992. Since he was a child, and influenced by his father, he began listening bands like Scorpions, Queen and Deep Purple. From this last one he owned Made in Japan, and because of it he started getting interested in learning bass guitar. It was several years after when the first opportunity to play bass in a band came, in a punk rock one. However he began being influenced by Thrash and Death Metal (specially Megadeth, Death, Carcass and Sepultura). He wanted to play in a thrash band so bad. After playing in a Metalcore band (Empires to Ashes) the thrash moment finally came with Reek, which recorded 2 albums (Rubbish, Necro). Reek era last 'till 2015, when he decided to join Sneak Peek, a Hard Rock band, for a year. After that he got a call from NF and he could'n refuse the offer.
