Chucky Hugh was born and raised in Northern NJ, USA (near NYC), and was musically inclined from a very young age.

He always preferred theatrical hard rock/ punk music, and even formed bands in school. They connected with producer Mike Lisa (who Chucky still records with to this day), and recorded some demos. The band gained some traction on local social media, and was even able to perform at the notable "Webster Hall" in New York City. When it time came to make a decision to go to college, or to continue trying to create a career as touring musicians, the band split up. Chucky had no choice but to continue striving for his dream as a solo artist.

In 2014, he debuted "ALIVE," his first solo EP heavily inspired by bands like Mayday Parade, NeverShoutNever, and Sleeping With Sirens. This release created a platform, and a solid lineup of shows.

2015's "On My Own" continued the alternative acoustic vibe, and saw some local success, bringing him into the Philadelphia/ Easton PA scene.

In 2017, "Faded Things" was released as Chucky Hugh's first full length album. There was significant vocal development, and the content of the songs began to show some anguish, (contrary to his normal "love song" style).

In 2019's "SINNER," Chucky Hugh shocked audiences with a theatrical and Dark Pop-Rock release (and music video)! Now sporting a live drummer, and a much more energetic live show: the bar has been set for the future releases.
