This is not the original Klymaxx but original member Joyce Irby and a selection of talented women that she selected to keep the Klymaxx sound going. Joyce was phenomenal! Her voice is strong and reminiscent on cuts like “I Miss You” and “I’d Still Say Yes”. I have to say the other singers were not impressive but leading well known hits like “Meeting In the Ladies Room” and “The Men All Pause”. At times missed notes and pithiness mirrored unprofessional karaoke. I won’t take away from their ability to play however. They were flawless musicians, just not great singers. Nevertheless, it was worth it all to see the amazing Joyce Irby.
