Kaiser Souzai including his numerours alter egos has written and produced way over 400 songs, including platin- and gold awarded million sellers for other artists in the past 20 years, which makes him an icon within the industry.

Having travelled to 40 countries to perform and dj, Markus has defined his own niche of driving melodic technoid electronic music, representing the sound and soul of his labels Ballroom Black (Techno), Ballroom Records (Melodic) and Ballroom Purple (Leftfield/Electronica). Kaiser plays his own music, jamming with his electronic drum pad, presenting a unique concert like Hybrid/ Dj Set.
His acclaimed album “Fifteen Bullets” , released late 2019 made it to #3 on Beatport sales charts amnd will beta full remix treatment by the industries finest techno producers in 2020.


Kaiser Souzai put himself on the electronic map initially with releases such as ‚Girl‘, which became a huge summer tune in 2006 with it‘s Pulp Fiction samples, and their Cloud series, ‚Altocummulus Floccus‚ Stratocumulus‘ and ‚Cirrus‘. Remixes for Booka Shade, Dave Seaman put him on he map and got him the ongoing support of Sven Vath, Joseph Capriati, Steve Lawler, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebling, Carl Cox and so many more.

Kaiser Souzai has introduced his live performance to the world. Each live show incorporates Kaiser Souzai‘s never-ending energy, show- casing his talent as musician with live electronic percussions in front of a frenetic crowd. He travelled all continents, gigging at the likes of Womb (Tokyo), Uberhaus (Beirut), Forsage (Kiev), Nation Of Gondwana, Sisyphos (Berlin), Sullivan Room (NYC) Koi (Singapore), Jungle Experience (Koh Phangan), Circus (Melbourne) and Rhythm & Alps (New Zealand).
