Fantastic show! It was so good to see these guys again. They rocked the house but good! They played so many of their own great tunes, and a good assortment of borrowed ones too. Definitely a memorable night. Nice job boys!

About Brewer's Grade
Original, contemporary, diverse and entertaining are just a few words one could use to describe this experienced and fresh sounding group of talented musicians known as Brewer’s Grade Band. Zac Grooms, Nolan Hare, Al Hare and Joe Smart are not only refined musicians in their own ways, but together form a sound and energy that cannot be found with just any collaboration. These gentlemen give to music what every great song needs; Heart and soul! Weather at a packed out stadium, a small club in the northwest, or in a private recording studio, Brewer’s Grade Band strives to advance the art of music creation to new heights. With a sound that can be right at home along side any current country radio tune, these boys are determined to create a music experience that is relatable, inspiring, and will leave you begging for more. With several years of recording and performing together already under their belts, Brewer’s Grade Band is continuing their mission on their way to national success.
MEET THE BAND
ZAC GROOMS- A seasoned vocalist as well as an accomplished acoustic and electric guitarist, Zac Grooms has been writing and performing country music in the Northwest as a solo artist and band frontman for over 15 years. Zac has had a hand in writing nearly 40 songs including, “If I Had My Way” which went all the way to #1 on the Independent charts in 1999. Since recording his first single at age 14, Zac has won several awards, shared the stage with various country legends, and appeared on numerous radio shows. He continues to be highly recognized in the Columbia River Gorge music community. Zac originally founded the band, then called Unwound, In 1999 with previous band-mate Cody Christopherson, and continues to entertain crowds of all sizes across the region.
JOE SMART is a grammy award winning multi-instrumentalist, studio musician, and producer who has been playing and performing music since the age of eight. He began on the guitar, moving on to the fiddle, mandolin, and recently taking up the banjo and resonator guitar. With influences from Bach to Van Halen and everything between, his musical style has been molded into a diverse amalgam of folk, blues, rock, jazz, and classical. In 2007 he released his debut solo instrumental album "Guitarman". Joe has performed across the world and has worked with various bands and artists over the years. Joe Joined Brewer’s Grade in November of 2011.
AL HARE was born and raised in The Dalles Oregon where he began playing guitar at age 15. Al spent years mastering his guitar craft pulling in a diverse collection of styles including Van Halan and Stevie Ray Vaughn, as well as Brent Mason and Vince Gill. Playing music throughout the gorge area during the 90s and 00s, Al became a well respected multi-genre guitarist and the perfect fit for a rising modern country band. In 2004 Al joined the band and has since been a driving force in local music, and one of the finest country lead guitarist in the northwest. Al plays a Valley Arts, Brent Mason Signature Guitar through Fender or Mesa Boogie Amps.
NOLAN HARE- Music has always been a focal point in the life of Nolan Hare. He first took the stage in his early school days and has rarely been a part of the audience since. Growing up in a home where it wouldn't be uncommon to hear Metallica, James Taylor, Chopin, Eric Clapton, Easy-E, and Garth Brooks throughout the course of a day, has helped Nolan develop an appreciation for all styles of music. Since joining the band as the bass player in 2008 he has contributed more than just his musical talents. With a background in live radio, event production, and web development, he has successfully maintained the band's professional image keeping them on par with larger touring acts.
