Goldenhour

GoldenHour is local talent made for the global scene. They are the band that’s bringing back the art and raw passion that goes into creating music and bringing that same art and passion and putting it into their live performances. Four dudes from all walks of life that come from the different parts of Long Island come together every week in their drummer’s basement to create and write music that’s groovy, moving, and just an overall internal pleasure for your ears. They’re vaguely reminiscent of that one band you heard that one time on Pandora and you really liked their music but forgot to write down their name BUT BETTER.

With Jarryd “Jarry” Razak on vocals and rhythm guitar, Nick “Badmeme” Badame on lead guitar, Jake “Jakey Cakes” Dickinson on drums, and their interim bassist Nick “Vegan” Semanchik these GoldenHour boys are the most charismatic guys you’ll ever meet. Having all found each other at Five Towns College they’ve perfected their art of creating music and audio engineering to bring to you some of the catchiest and most ear-pleasing tunes you won’t ever hear from another band.

GoldenHour’s songs are a non-traditional form of being relatable; you don’t understand why you relate to them so much but you just do. Their unique sound of indie rock, alternative, emo rock, and just a wee bit punk all comes together to make you want to sing along and jam out to the front man. Music isn’t just a hobby for these boys; for them it is their girlfriend, their ball and chain, their education, their job, and most importantly their life
