Kick & Base

Kick & Base is a dj duo from Hamburg consisting of Jonas Nils Winterfeld and Waldek Biskup. Their collaboration started in spring 2011. After a few successful experiments, Kick and Base started to perform as dj team on a regular basis. Waldek began his musical career in 1995 as dj Dharma, particularly playing psychedelic and progressive trance music at many psytrance parties in his homeland Poland and later across Europe. While continuing to dj, he was constantly developing his production skills. Together with his wife Aga, he started the project Lightsphere, followed by Wired & Disconnected. Jonas is very well known in Hamburgs psytrance scene as a dj and promoter. Since his first contact with psytrance music in 2000, he has constantly been involved in the scene. First as a promoter, later in 2003 he also started djing. His style is a bright range of driving progressive trance. Trough their similar taste in music and shared love for pumping offbeat sounds, the two work hamoniously well together behind the decks.
