ghostplay, a band whose sonic landscape is a vibrant tapestry woven from the influences of Snowden, Deerhunter, Exploded View, Diiv, and The Knife. Embracing the ethereal realms of ambient music while infusing their sound with the gritty allure of surf noir, ghostplay offers a fresh and distinctive musical experience. Their compositions feature infectious lead guitar hooks, pulsating basslines, and dynamic drum rhythms, all enveloped in haunting, atmospheric vocals. Conjuring images of moonlit shores and shadowy alleyways, ghostplay’s music transports listeners to mysterious, cinematic landscapes where tension and tranquility coalesce.

Following the release of their debut EP, “33,” in 2015 under Noise Loves Audio, ghostplay is poised to finally release their first full-length album, ‘Zelpha’, in 2024. They have once again collaborated with producer/engineer Monte Vallier of Ruminator Audio in San Francisco, CA, and the album promises to be a continuation of their innovative sound and musical evolution, inviting audiences on an immersive journey through their ambient universe.
