Brainticket

The psychedelic formation BRAINTICKET was founded in 1968 (others say in the beginning of the seventies) by the Belgium multi-instrumentalist Joel Vandroogenbroeck. The group is a result of the sixties Jazz-Group 'Dee Dee, Barry and the Movements' (Singer: Barry Window), of which the members Joel Vandroogenbroeck, Ron Bryer and Wolfgang Paap formed the new band together with some southern German Krautrock and Swiss musicians.

Their first album 'Cottonwoodhill' is said to be an acid trip set to music and is considered one of the most psychedelic albums ever. On the original records inside, it was issued with a Warning of "After Listening to this Record, your friends may not know you anymore" and "Only listen to this once a day. Your brain might be destroyed!".

After almost twenty years, an electro-psychedelic-trance-like album has been released in 2000, with a new voice (Carole Muriel) and the musicians around Vandroogenbroeck called the Mystery Hologram A-U-Rchestra [sic].
