Dan Conroy grew up singing the Irish songs he learned from his dad. Dan's arrival in Los Angeles culminated in meeting Patrick D'Arcy and many’s the musical occasion soon followed. He makes his living as an actor in TV, Film & Animation and brings his experience as a story teller to the Sean nos songs he sings with the band.

Patrick D’Arcy is one of the finest uilleann pipers alive today. His piping, whistling and singing resurrects the bard’s of old and his bodhrán playing stirs the heart with its primordial rhythm’s. Patrick hails from Dublin, Ireland and tours regularly both in the US and internationally. Since 2010 he has had the privilege to tour extensively from The Waterfront in Belfast to The Grand 'Ol Opry in Nashville with modern hymn writers Keith & Kristyn Getty. Patrick has appeared on numerous recordings over the years in all genres of music and records regularly for film & TV. He has played for some familiar figures including Bono (U2), The Kennedy and Shriver Families, Quincy Jones, Daniel Lanois, Oprah Winfrey and David Foster. In the early days of playing the uilleann pipes he would venture to County Clare in Ireland where he learned from the masters by attending the legendary "Willie Clancy Summer School", named after one of Irelands most influential pipers. Patrick is a founding member of the Southern California Uilleann Pipers Club and creator of renowned piping resource UilleannObsession.com

Kevin McKidd is a well known Scottish actor. He was born and spent his childhood in Elgin, Moray, Scotland. He is best known for his portrayal of Tommy in the film "Trainspotting" and his work on the critically acclaimed television show Rome." Last midwinter, a group of musicians led by actor Kevin McKidd (“Brave”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Rome”, “Trainspotting”) and best friend James D. Reid, came together in a sprawling old house on the banks of the River Spey, in the Scottish Highlands. Over the course of one intense week, with a diverse cast of players and vocalists, which included many old friends, they recorded over two dozen traditional Scottish folk songs. All the tracks were recorded ‘old school’, as live performances in singular continuous takes, so as to capture the mood of the moment and the spontaneous atmosphere of the sessions. The resulting album, entitled The Speyside Sessions, is “a fresh take on the traditional music form, with the ability to transport the listener and rouse emotion”. It will be released June 2012, with all profits going to the charity, Save The Children. The album is a love letter to Scotland and the creator's home area of Moray. In the same spirit as Bruce Springsteen’s “Seeger Sessions” which highlighted American folk songs, The Speyside Sessions album is comprised of an intimate mix of traditional Scottish ballads, reels and bawdy crowd pleasers.
