We go by the name Erato. For +30 years their name has been on the lips of many dark alternative music fans and has conquered their hearts. In his period of time Erato has build a serious live reputation playing strong and honest GothRock sets on several stage in Belgium as abroad. Our music a rare bland of the purest Goth/New Wave sound of the eighties and contemporary rock injected with electronic elements, has put us on stages together with acts like the Sisters of Mercy, Skeletal Family, Inkubus Sukkubus, Ikon,… and many, many others. Armed with a persistent fan base and a strong DIY attitude we have released 4 albums that have reached music lovers all over the world. Despite several changes in the lineup, Erato always continued what it does best: playing great songs with heart and no compromises.
