Explosions in the Sky

They have so much energy and are amazing live. Most of us were tranced out just by the music. Great (standing room) venue, great show.

I loved everything about this show. Was basically put into a euphoric trance, and I’m so damn happy I was able to go!

An incredible experience. If you like hard rock (or "post-rock", as the label goes), you have to see this band at least once in your life. Beautiful, intense, wild, all at the same time. Only 80 minutes long, but enough to leave you with your heart in your mouth, especially after "The only moment we were alone". What a terrific ending for the show!!

Lifeguard is an excellent band. THe EITS set list was good. A bit too loud but sound quality excellent. See you again.

Outstanding show! I really liked their stage presence, how natural they were, and the sheer energy that they gave to the audience. Every nuance they put into their live performance only added to the brilliance and heart pounding (or heart rending) beauty to the songs! My family and I really enjoyed the show. The only downside would be, when the guitars were the full on, distortion wall of sound, some mid-high frequencies built up and got harsh on the ears. (though, personally, I like hearing parts where I *might* need to close my ears.) My first concert I ever went to was these guys on the Wilderness release tour (every bit as good!).. and I'd be content if this would be my last. Thank you

Explosions in the Sky was opening for Nine Inch Nails in El Paso, and as soon as Explo finished playing......... I left. Didn't care about the price to see them open even for just a few minutes. Been listening to them since 2007 when Conan o brien was late on at night. Was astound at the feeling in the music. Love at first sound.

it was literally the best concert I had ever gone to, and I went with my best friend who is unfortunately terminally ill now. I would love to see you guys again with her one last time, but man, this was the best concert EVER.

FACS was hilarious. EITS was breathtaking the entire show! It was sooo nice and therapeutic just standing there, swaying to the sounds flowing from all those talented instrumentalists.

Second time seeing this amazing band! They are by far one of my favorites! Loved them in this venue too!

Explosions is hands down one of the best bands I have ever seen live. This was my 5th time seeing them and it is always literally a spiritual experience. The venue was great too!

EITS puts on an AMAZING live show. Truly speaks to the collaborative power of musicians capable of creating an awesomely energetic experience.

EITS performed spectacularly. one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Mesa Arts Center's acoustics are flawless. beautiful venue. my 1 complaint is everyone has to sit. rock shows should ALWAYS have a GA area where people can stand/dance/gyrate to enjoy the performance.

Great show, resplendent with minimalist effects with varying light/smoke combos to accompany the music. It was simple but it worked great with this band. Holy Fuck was weird but great fun; I'm a new fan. My only complaint had nothing to do with the show or venue - there are some really selfish pieces of shit in this town. These loud, obnoxious asshats insisted on having a shouted conversation during super quiet parts of more than a few songs. This is not Metallica at the rose bowl. Many of these songs have quiet, pensive moments...punctuated by laughing shouting morons. Would've been much nicer without them there.

Explosions in the Sky were great. Their opener (Thor and Friends or something?) was terrible. They were just noise over a repeated xylophone beat. Also, a group of people in the crowd were assholes that kept screaming to each other over the music. But Explosions in the Sky were awesome!

Amazing. The music did all the talking. Non stop for an hour and a half. All killer and no filler

absolutely amazing. first time seeing them live and I love how they played straight through an amazing set with our talking in between songs. more time for music. can't wait til they come back around :)

EITS were fantastic as always, we were promised jetpacks were a great choice of support and I'm definitely going to see one of their headline gigs in the future.

Some technical jams along with the stench of weed that people were smoking during the concert; however, overall it was a great show!

great set! really enjoyed not only the music but how much the band got into playing. They did a fantastic job and exuded tremendous energy!
