About Charli Baltimore
Charli "Chuck B. More" Baltimore (born Tiffany Lane on August 16, 1974 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a Grammy nominated female rapper who came about in the mid to late 90's and is mostly known for her relationship with The Notorious B.I.G..
She was born to a German father and an African American mother but mainly raised by her elder half-sister, Yolanda. After graduating from Pierce College, becoming a certified paralegal, and having two daughters, India and Sianni, Charli met The Notorious B.I.G. in the summer of 1995. Notorious B.I.G introduced Charli to Lance Un Riviera, who signed her and Cam'Ron on his new label, Untertainment. It is rumored that Charli had a relationship with Lance Un Rivera and Jay-Z causing friction between the two. Allegedly, this led to Jay-Z stabbing Lance Un Riviera in December 1999.
Naming herself after Geena Davis' character in the film The Long Kiss Goodnight, Baltimore made her first appearance in the music industry in 1996 with Junior M.A.F.I.A.'s Get Money video. Through proper connections that led her with a record deal with Lance Un Riviera. Her first video was in 1997 with the hit Money featured on the Woo movie soundtrack. With collaborators such as Cam'Ron and N.O.R.E., Baltimore recorded her debut album Cold as Ice which featured tracks like Money, Pimp Da 1 u Love, N.B.C, and Stand Up. Sadly, her album was never released due to gradual friction between her and the label. After a five-year hiatus, Charli Baltimore was signed to Murder Inc. Records (currently The Inc) by CEO Irv Gotti. After constant album delays, she left the label. She made appearances in songs such as Down 4 U, Down Ass Bitch, and Rain On Me (Remix).
In 2002 she earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Rap Solo Performance, for her single Diary.
In 2008, Charli has stated she is signed back with The Inc and Irv Gotti.
