Rica Shay

Rica Shay began performing spoken word poetry at 18 while working the graveyard shift an iHop in Scottsboro, Alabama. A poet and hip hop fanatic since elementary school, he began performing original music in the Atlanta and New York club scenes by the age of 23. His childhood musical heroes included Outkast and Missy Elliot, but don’t forget the Spice Girls (for real though). Rica Shay is a rapper, performer, hip hop artist, dancer, poet, and a nomad.
