Schema

A four piece prog funk-rock band native to Charleston SC, Schema started as a few good friends playing music for fun. The quartet is comprised of Adam Coyne and Ryan Bresnihan on guitars, Matt Jackson on bass, and JP Treadaway on drums. The group quickly built a strong following in the Charleston area, making their debut at the Charleston Pour House in 2012. Since that time, the band has established themselves as one of the premier instrumental groups in town. They are perhaps best known for their heavy grooves and energetic improv sections. The band weaves improvisation into all of their live music, ensuring that every show is as exciting as the last. Drawing on influences from a wide array of music including, but not limited to funk, fusion, jazz, bluegrass, soul, jam, rock, metal, instrumental, and electronica. After years of writing music and heavy gigging in the Charleston area, it's safe to say that Schema has made a name for themselves in the music scene; with a fan base that continues to grow every week.
