About Party Asylum

"If you want to listen to something with big, crunchy guitars and melodies catchier than the common cold then this is the band for you!" - New Hellfire Club Glasgow "With melodies that are uplifting and guitar riffs that are raw, their curvaceous, full-bodied sound is captivating and infectious." - Miff Morris, Gobo/NHC Music. "Go and see them and enjoy your favourite band of tomorrow today." "Keep an eye out for their name under the ‘ones to watch’ headlines." - IT'S A **** THING Promotions "Unsigned Scottish trio are truly roaring out the music thunders with brilliant rock n' roll character!" - Tim, forksterocks.net Welcome to the Party. Party Asylum are a pop/rock/garage band based in Glasgow, Scotland. Formed in early 2013, the female-fronted trio consists of three friends who share a passion for good music, good beer and good times. The band is made up of Tina Brown (guitar/vocals), Jen Walker (bass/vocals), and Androo Riddell (drums/beer). Party Asylum's debut EP "Welcome to the Party" was released in December 2013, and was recorded by Ayrshire talent Nathan Wallace. The EP offers 4 tracks that have healthy doses of chunky riffs and sounds layered with catchy hooks and stuck-in-your-head melodies. The band made their first music video for the track "(Sorry) I'm All Tied Up" with the amazing Steve Cardno at the start of 2014 (http://youtu.be/nv9hq-05yvI). The EP is available digitally on iTunes, Amazon and Bandcamp. The first single from their second recording session "Faces of the Sea" was released in the summer of 2014 on Bandcamp. Recorded by Robbie Gunn at Dixon St Studios, it was followed by the track that would be behind their second music video, "Kiss Your Demons", in the summer of 2014 (http://youtu.be/Ob2nfQvMUwI). Their 3rd music video "Faces of the Sea" (http://youtu.be/R8aYtCVeT74) was released March 2015. Limited CDs are available at shows. The band have supported some of their biggest influences, including Electric Eel Shock and Eureka Machines, as well as playing successful headline shows, and plan to do much more of the same as the party continues. http://facebook.com/partyasylumband http://twitter.com/partyasylumband http://partyasylum.bandcamp.com http://soundcloud.com/party-asylum https://www.youtube.com/user/partyasylumband Contact: partyasylumband@gmail.com Party loving garage/pop/rock band from Glasgow, Scotland.
