Great line-up at this year’s Red Hot Summer day out. Loved them all - Paul Kelly, Bernard Fanning, Missy Higgins, Troy & Ian, Mark Seymour, Linda & Vika and of course our local young lads who opened the day. Thanks again Sandstone Point for turning on a great day - we love having such a wonderful venue north of Brisbane that can attract such great and iconic Australian artists.

Paul was at his best and always brings me joy. As an older Australian I would like to see him perform a little earlier in the line-up and leave performers like Bernard Fanning till last so the younger ones can rage into the night. Would have preferred Troy Cassar-Daly perform with Bo'Ness backing. Then Ian Moss with the female bass player with the voice. Marc Seymour and the female bass player with the voice would be electric. I'm now 71 so a bit deaf as in the louder it is the less distinct the voices. But then I saw Paul Kelly live so on balance 3 out of 5.

I loved the concert, I thought the amount of trees blocking the stage view from many parts of the reserve, was disappointing- while the screens were good, we only had half a view of one, we arrived at the venue 2.30pm. The sound was good, so it was a listening only for us really.

Great day out, loved some of it more than others, overall good mix of bands, but the finale was a Paul Kelly marathon with all the old faves. The site access and exits were great, no long queue to get out, and the facilities and security were great all day.

5 stars goes directly to the performers. They were all astounding. The venue however was incredibly disappointing for those unfortunate enough to be sat in the back corner near the entry doors. Venue from that perspective gets 1 star (though I'm sure it was great for those not in the back corner)

Exceptional !! Such a privilege to witness Icons of Australian music collaborating. The 3 encores were the icing on the cake, especially their version of making gravy.... wow!! Thanks for a night to remember!!

Absolutely the best concert, such a professional and prolific songwriter for the ages. Vika and Linda Bull were absolutely amazing and the venue suited this performance. He was able to deliver song after song with stories to add context to the such familiar songs. Unfortunately at the end of his 7 week tour Covid had hit the band so he performed without the bass and drums but in reality it was brilliant see Paul Kelly this way. The clarity of the vocals was mesmerising.

wow great show up close and personal. Kelly and band on point so were the back up band very impressed with Fanny. Didn't think I would like the sit down gig but it made the atmosphere even better as you could see the performance without any obstructions. crowd was also great and very respectful. absolutely loved it.

Well what can I say - over thirty years since I last saw him live and he is one of the greatest songwriters, singers & entertainers of our time. Paul Kelly and his band including Vika & Linda ripped the roof off Anita’s Theatre last night for over two hours of high powered, energetic performing. Would recommend his shows highly and would not hesitate to go back again.

Fantastic- a sensational performer and raconteur Loved the way he connected with the South West in his music and his stories. Also loved the way he introduced with great respect the performers in his group with a comment on the ability of each and his role in the following song. Also his sincere thanks to the sound and light crew. Loved Vikka and Gordi

Paul and Co. were as good as I hoped he’d be. Took a long time to get to see him live and wont be the last...

Mesmerising- amazing young artists supported with love by an amazing musician and story teller. I felt privileged to be part of the Paul Kelly experience.

Annual pilgrimage justly rewarded! Just love how Paul puts life into words, poetry and music. Great band aside, loved the inclusion of other artists into the set, stand out songs with Courtney Barnett, Cassie Chambers and of course, Jess Hitchcock ..... wow!!!!

Angus and Julia were great rain cut all the acts short other wise and great performance Vicka and Linda bull voices were amazing

He and his band were ON FIRE!! Brilliant, inspired, soaring sounds from the multi talented troubadour from Down Under. Great time!

I cannot believe I could be this lucky to see Paul Kelly in San Fran in such an intimate venue. Vika and Linda were the cherry on top of this superb gig. The songs evoked so many powerful memories from living in Melbourne and the new album material is just as strong. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Paul Kelly along with Vika and Linda Bull were amazing. I always enjoy the first half of his shows that he dedicated to the new material he has released. Following them comes the favourites, many of them old but some from the recent past. Paul Kelly is a story teller, poet and consummate performer. He is one of the people he plays to, but at the same time performs to a greater power than he or me. It was privilege to be there today.

Fantastic balance of tunes. Loved seeing his daughters up there singing with him and Charlie Owen was wonderful on the slide. Paul was his amazing self as always. Great show in a great venue. 👍👍

Quel dommage que le public français ne connaisse pas ce type formidable. Sa chanteuse Linda était carrément craquante. Des qu'il repasse j'irai encore.Le Flow était intelligemment équipé en places assises. Atmosphère intimiste et très chaude, public australien visiblement. Douceur et force musicale.
