TiburónȀ

The project stems from the mind of former saxophonist turned vocalist/multi-intsrumentalist Dusty York, who spent many years releasing recordings from a multitude of artists on his own record label Diatic Records. After five releases of his own he abandoned the saxophone, as well as jazz and the record label, to pursue a career in the indie-pop realm. York, together with Los Angeles drummer Justin Roberts, formed the duo, "Sad Little Men" and recorded their debut album entitled 'I'll Be The Octopus'. Aaron Linn soon replaced Roberts, and after playing and touring extensively, the duo wanted to expand their sound to meet the dynamics of their versatile writing and playing styles--which became Tiburona.
