BEATPORT MUSIC AWARDS WINNERS
2012 (best tech house trak: NiCe7 - Point
on GRUUV REC.) , Nicola Daniele and
Cesare Marocco – aka NiCE7 – are
among the latest Italian stars to emerge
on the worldwide tech house stage.
Since 2005,the year in which the two of
them paired up, they have released on
labels such Crosstown Rebels,Noir Music, Get Physical,
Suara, Defected, Gruuv,
always crafting dance floor bombs for
whoever calls on their services.
Deep house is another realm that they
have succeeded in, with their successful
EP “back to basics” in 2012 and then
scoring a chart-topping hit with their remix
of Jon Cutler’s “It’sYours” in 2013. That
year they founded their record label DFloor,
an imprint dedicated to “credible
and forward-thinking outputs.”
Always managing to illicit great reactions
from the crowds they play to thanks to
their inimitable DJ style mixing up all
styles from techy to darker to more funky,
this pair performed at Cocorico’ Riccione,
Output NYC, Space Ibiza, Watergate
Berlin and Ministry of Sound London
adding to their already-impressive history
of festivals and clubs all over the world.
