About BRAD ALFORD & SADDLETRAMP

Brad Alford is a Kentucky-born singer/songwriter/guitarist whose life has been totally focused on his passion for music. Winner of the Jim Beam national talent search held in Nashville at the Wild Horse Saloon with two albums to his credit. From early on, Brad knew what he would be doing with his life, playing his guitar and singing anywhere, anytime there was an audience, no matter how big or small. As he entered the club scene it wasn’t long before success followed. Brad and his band became one of the most sought acts in Kentucky and Tennessee, then touring the club circuit all over the United States. By the 90’s, Brad had signed a management contract with David Lee Entertainment in Nashville coached and developed by manager Suzie Pennington In 1995, Brad won the Jim Beam National Talent Search, gaining national recognition and being mentioned in several national publications, including Billboard magazine and Country Music Weekly. In 1996 Brad’s debut album, Some Things Were Meant to Be, was released on Vision Records. The album was produced by Exile singer and front man J. P. Pennington, Soon after Brad acquired many dedicated new fans. He was headlining shows and making numerous television and radio appearances. With the new millennium came Brad’s entrance into the business world. He used his local popularity to launch one of the most successful night clubs in the nation, the Cadillac Ranch, in Lexington, Kentucky. A couple of years later, he opened the Sterling Saloon in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, and went on to start a third club, B.A.’s Nashville Station in Winchester, Kentucky. All of Brad’s clubs were dedicated to promoting and maintaining quality music and entertainment. Brads new album, Kiss Me Baby, which is due for release features songs that Brad has written over the past several years along with tracks recorded in his studio as well as in Nashville. Musicians on the album include a collaboration of session players and Brad’s stage band Saddletramp. Choosing not to co-write on this venture, Brad wanted to capture the essence of what he feels he and the band represent when playing the songs live. Kiss Me Baby is an energetic blend of country and Southern rock with a dash of pop. This self-produced album is destined to be remembered; however, Brad says, “That’s not important this time. I didn’t write these songs for radio. I just want to feel like this project is something that I will enjoy playing and listening to. Once you copy the album and it hits the shelves, you’re gonna have to live with it forever. In this day of technology, sometimes what you hear live is nothing like what you hear on the album, and it’s important to me that this album portrays what I really am as a writer singer and guitarist.” “I think it’s important not to change what you are but to pursue it musically. Sink or swim, you end up being what you were when you started, yourself.” www.bradalford.net Brad Alford and Saddletramp ,, Kentucky
