About Legna y Yoisel
Desde que unieron sus voces en el año 2000, la cantante y soprano Legna Tocado y el cantautor Yoisel Concepción han realizado una trayectoria artística sobre diferentes escenarios, tanto en Cuba, como dos años de carrera en México. Han tenido a cargo espacios culturales, vale destacar A Corta Distancia, donde compartieron escenario con gran parte de la cultura cubana.
El cantautor Joyce Concepción ha compuesto cientos de temas musicales y ha musicalizado la obra de diversos poetas cubanos y extranjeros. El repertorio del Dúo incluye las composiciones suyas y las de otros autores, en los géneros del bolero, el son, la guaracha, la canción, la balada, el fílim y la música tradicional cubana, entre otros ritmos caribeños y latinoamericanos.
Legna Tocado ha cantado con formatos sinfónicos y orquestas de cuerdas la música de grandes compositores. Ambos se desempeñan como artistas independientes.
Actualmente residen en Tampa, Florida; donde con una experiencia en dueto de más de diez años, emprenderán un nuevo período profesional.

Since joining their voices in the year 2000, the soprano singer Legna Tocado and the singer/songwriter Yoisel Concepción have realized an artistic trajectory among different stages; both in Cuba, as well as two years in Mexico. They have been in charge of many cultural spaces – one worth mentioning is A Corta Distancia (A Short Distance) – where they shared the stage with a big part of the Cuban culture.
The singer/songwriter Joyce Concepción has composed hundreds of songs as well as musicalizing the artwork of many Cuban poets, as well as other foreign poets. The repertoire of the duo includes their own compositions as well as covers of other composers in the genres of bolero, son, guaracha, ballads, the fílim, and Cuban music, including Caribbean and Latin American rhythms.
Legna Tocado has sung – accompanied by symphonics and orchestras – compositions from great composers. Both serve as independent artists.
Both currently reside in Tampa, Florida; where they will begin a new period of their professional lives as musicians with experience of more than ten years backing them.
