About Neil.

Neil is an Italian singer-songwriter who lives in a small village near Treviso, Italy.
In 2011 he recorded an album with the band Hope Leaves and then he began his solo career. The debut album "Apart" (Garage Records) came out in 2013 and contains 10 songs about separation, hence the idea of creating themed albums.
Charles Baudelaire has always been a source of inspiration for Neil's lyrics ever since he went to school, so he decided to pay homage to the artist of Les Fleurs Du Mal by collecting in an album the songs that best describe the existential boredom from his point of view.
Black Flowers was released in December 2016 for Seahorse Recordings, a more Rock-oriented sound than the previous album, thanks to the contribution of Andrea on drums and Ake at bass.
A series of live shows started to promote the album, both with the band and as a soloist, with the help of a loop station. In 2017 Ake was replaced by Alex.
Neil's music is a mixture of rock and folk, recalling artists such as Elliot Smith, the Cure, Smashing Pumpkins and Pearl Jam.
