TheSwimmingPools are known for their unique vision. From their intense live shows, to one of a kind parties and events, TheSwimmingPools create and invent the new. Influenced by artists such as Iggy Pop, Grace Jones, and The Chemical Brothers, TheSwimmingPools (Christophe Doloire, Daniel Smith) combine backgrounds in Music, Art, Design, and Dance to generate a singular world. Since releasing their first album, 'I Fall In Love 100 Times A Day', TheSwimmingPools have garnered press in Europe, Canada, and the United States with their provocative and raw work. In addition to their debut album, TheSwimmingPools have two other full length albums, 'When You Don't Know What You Want' and 'At The Edge Of The World'. Their latest release is a four song EP entitled, "Move To Love" (2013). While continuing to create new music, TheSwimmingPools have also explored one of a kind dance and DJ events. Their legendary performance parties on New York's Fire Island helped to usher in a new wave of art and performance to the Fire Island community. TheSwimmingPools' work has been remixed by leading artists such as Cinnamon Chasers, Moonbootica, and Suburban Dance Club. They have been interviewed and featured on Here Media's Just Josh, Les Echos, Crush Fanzine, FAB, and Out Magazine.
