About Shimura Curves
Shimura Curves are a 4-piece band from London, England, made up of Kate (ex-The Lollies), Lisa, Frances and Ed. Laptop backing tracks, live guitar, bouzouki, intricate harmonies, co-ordinated dancing and poignant/ surreal lyrics abound.
The song "I Capture The Castle" was featured on the Truck Festival 9 Compilation earlier this summer, their first single, 'Stronger', was released on 7-inch vinyl on Brainlove Records in September 2006, and the song "Noyfriend" has been featured on the Kids In The Club compilation on How Does It Feel Records.
