Five for Fighting

Excellent concert. He never fails to give 150% and he has an amazing range. Plus, he is so personable and charming on stage that you can’t help being moved by his performances. Bravo! Go see him if you can.

One of my favorite Five For Fighting concerts . 1. First time live concert was at the same venue and with the band. 20 or so years ago. I have had the honor to attendFFF shows with a full orchestra and his unbelievable string quartet. But this show was different. A lot has happened and continues to happen. And he shared the experiences he has had in efforts to make an impact. Let’s not forget the band, their passion came through.True Character of a very humble man. Thank you for a night I will always remember 😊🎶🎹

The venue was great, not a bad seat in the house, easy to get to an..super friendly staffers! I will never be able to say enough about how much I enjoyed the show. Whether he is performing solo, with his string quartet or his band...John puts on a purely remarkable show! I've seen him 5 or 6 times and each time is a different and equally amazing experience. This is the first time I saw him with his rock band and the energy was great! I saw him in Indiana last month and am already making plans to hit another one of his shows later in the year. Good Job Capitol Theatre...for booking this one!

This was an incredible concert!! I will never, ever forget it. This was my first time to see them after just listening to their albums over the years. John's voice is gorgeous! He is an amazingly skilled vocalist and pianist. And the band! So unique. 3 violinists and a bassist and they were so good I was mesmerized. The audience participation parts were so much fun!!!

This was truly a bucket list event for me! I have been following John Ondrasik for almost 25 years and have all of his music but, last night, for the first time, I actually got to see and hear him (and that amazing string quartet), “live!” The music was outstanding! John was amazing! I will now be looking for new opportunities to see him in concert. If you’re a fan of Five For Fighting, you really need to see him, “live” and on stage. You will be so glad to did! Thank you, John and, thank you, string quartet members. You were outstanding!!

Great show. Five for Fighting was on my bucket list, so glad I got to see. Great with the string quartet. The Murphy Theatre is a beautiful place and the acoustics in there made the show even better. Had a great time.

As always Five for Fighting was great. The String Quartet was amazing. The intimacy of the Vivarium is reminiscent of a time we saw John at Turner Hall. All in all a wonderful night. Thank you John.

Very Enjoyable show with unreal front row center stage tickets at an affordable price. The Pablo Center is an awesome venue for seeing talent like this up close and personal.

Yet another awesome show! He was able to interact with the audience better as they rotated the piano 45-degrees. The quality of his voice and the quartet is amazing. The sound in this smaller theater is very good, also making the show much more intimate. I went to both nights, Thursday and Friday, and it was therapeutic to escape the rat race and just sit and really listen to some great music (content). It sounds so much better than streaming music. The sound has a better range and projection. While streaming is ok on the run, to hear it in-person is a much higher level of perfection. No wonder vinyl is coming back, as it sounds so much better than streaming. Thank you for two incredible nights!

It was excellent. John and his quartet, as well as the entire crew, always puts on a great show. We have seen him multiple times with the quartet. At times I just close my eyes and listen to the music. It helps to focus on the sounds of all the instruments. The show is excellent therapy to clear your mind. Again, the perfection of the musician’s and the quality sound, make for an awesome experience. Music is great therapy!

Fantastic night! I've been following John Ondrasik for a few years now. He doesn't come this far south often, so I couldn't pass up this chance. We used to sing his songs to our kids when they were young to get them to sleep, so they have much more sentimental value now. They are now teens, and I brought them with us to hear it live. I just love hearing the stories behind the music (which, by the way, is why I love the AXS channel). : )

Amazing experience. This was a bucket list concert for me and I had my money's worth after the first song! He's been performing for decades and still captivates the audience. Genuine and talented artist and songwriter.

As always, a tremendous show. John put on an excellent performance in a perfect intimate setting. I highly recommend going to see him perform his craft. Can't say enough great things about his show!!!

First time seeing John with the full band. Liked his song selections and commentary but the sound was not great. Way too loud with the accompanying guitars and percussion drowning out his vocals and piano on many of the numbers. Could have been the venue acoustics, the sound man or a combination of both. If you didn’t know the lyrics you were not going to make them out on a few of the songs. Saw him with the string quartet a few years ago and enjoyed that much more. First time to this venue and was pleased with easy access, convenient parking, and good seating and facilities.

It was FANTASTIC to see them, BUT - it was WAY TOO LOUD for the venue. I LOVE MUSIC and listen to it loudly in my home and car… but it just seemed that the instrument’s mikes were up too high-

Show was amazing, so much more than I hoped for. Dynamic but intimate! Thank you to all of the artists. This show goes on my great times in my life list.

This was an awesome concert. John Ondrasik did not disappoint with his beautiful voice and the emotion he inserts in his songs. The members of the string quartet were superb. Flawless evening from start to finish!

This guy is so talented and the musicians on stage with him are as well. If you ever have a chance to see this show you need to do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Keeping us waiting 45 minutes before John went on stage took away from the evening ... Respecting the audience is a good thing even if you are a rock star! The concert was awesome once we all got into it... The Coach House is a great venue...I will be back!
