Lucas Day

Lucas Day is a one man bandit using all his limbs to bring his raw and real music into the world. Grown from the fertile soil of Adelaide, South Australia, Lucas writes what he learns and learns from what he writes; taking influence from John Butler Trio, Pete Murray, Foo Fighters and Hozier.

His debut Knots EP is a collection of four songs that he's performed to many drunken crowds during his time as a cruise ship musician and shows his moody mind through Alt Pop / Blues coloured glasses. It was written in a student housing while on exchange in Alberta, Canada, recorded in his bedroom in Adelaide and mixed in his girlfriend's bedroom in Tampa, USA. A well needed first leap into the deep end of the digital music industry.

Currently performing in duo Liz and Lucas on the high seas, Lucas belts out his originals a few nights a week and spends his days practicing, writing and recording new songs while exploring the world; fueling the fire to make a career out of his passion for music.

Lucas Day has released a follow up to his Knots EP called Now Later - an acoustic guitar driven homage to the optimistic procrastinators of the would. A reflection of his quarter life crisis with nothing but change in his pockets and songs on his strings, take a trip and listen to the story of Now Later.

Lucas is writing and recording some more tunes with one set to be released in December 2019!
