Mac Powell

The show itself was excellent once Mac Powell took the stage. The venue was very lacking. Acoustic’s and sound was not very good at all. It was very warm even something mentioned by Mac himself. Add to the concessions were unable to process a credit card. So five stars for Mac and one for the venue. Yes, my overall rating was not balanced. I would go see him again, but probably not at the Branson Columns.

The concert was fantastic! However, the lights in the second and third performances were awful. They were moving them across the audience back and forth. They were directed downward so they shined on the audience, people with migraine triggers and people whom have had cataracts can’t tolerate this light in their eyes. Unfortunately, we had to leave soon after Mac Powell began due to the lights.

Just awesome performances by Mac, Cochran, and Jon Reddick! 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best evening I have had in a while. Great night of praise and worship. Very thankful I went to see all of them. I have seen Third Day so I knew Mac would be awesome! Was excited to see Ion and Cochran. I love going to see new artists..ones I have not seen before. 💚💚💚💚💚

I absolutely loved Mac Powell’s performance! It was great to get to meet him in person, too! I’d love to be able to follow him on his tour and go to each venue on the tour. That sounds crazy, but I’m obsessed with his love for Jesus! Maybe we could become friends. We already have a mutual friend - Jesus!

I've new to christian music and events... I've been to MANY concerts and festivals... mac Powell has easily and quickly become my favorite artist and I've recently seen him at hits deep tour. Mac is awesome! Great stage presence plus he took requests. I've never seen requests taken and then he played my request :) that was the sweet cherry on top. Thanks mac!

Finally able to see Mac Powell; this has been a long time desire! He was great! Would loved to have him on stage with Danny Gokey and Natalie Grant all together. I am very interested in Mac's book also - a fresh perspective on famous artists; I will purchase the book.

I think these smaller events are great! They are much more personal. Mac has always had great interaction with the fans so you can just imagine the interaction that goes on with a small group. The music was great by everyone and we even got to hear a few that had never been played in public before. I’ve been to quite a bit of concerts and this one is right there at the top. Jordan St. Cyr and Rhett Walker brought their best as well.

I couldn’t have loved this more!!!! When the music is stripped down you really ca. appreciate the talent and gifts they have. It goes further than that though. Through their personal testimonies and music they worshipped the Lord and engaged the crowd to do the same. That’s what it’s all about. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to just be in the same room with these guys! Great night of worship and just appreciating the humor (Mac never disappoints!!), the talent and the artistry!!

Traveled an hour and a half to see him and then an hour and a half home. It was well worth the trip. I really wanted to see him and 3rd Day, but I was really happy I got to see him with my wife and 2 granddaughters. Can't wait for him to come back to the Des Moines area really soon.

Brandon and Mac performed their music on a small stage in a backyard in Bend. During their performance, they shared some personal struggles they were dealing with. Please keep them and their families in your prayers as they continue to travel and perform. Despite their love for performing, it doesn't make their struggles any easier. Let's take a moment to appreciate the talent of these two musicians and be grateful for the air we breathe. God bless them! It was a wonderful worship experience! but I definitely was encouraged as I went home with a renewed sense of how God is working and that I should be content in my circumstances. His timing is perfect. Enjoyed every word spoken and sung. That you for the opportunity to give feedback. I have been to 3 other concerts in the area and was not able to at the others.

I went because I LOVE Josh Baldwin’s music!! I walked out as a HUGE Fan of Mac Powell & Mike Donehey!! I then traveled 1,034 (and a half) miles (round trip) to see them again the very next night in Cleveland, TN!! No regrets! The four of them were phenomenal!!! No words to express how much I LOVED this concert & the format - intimate, engaging, powerful!!! Loved. Loved. Loved it!!!

The concert format allowed the artists to express themselves in a vulnerable and intimate way in worship. Worship was so prevalent in the room which made the experience so meaningful. Please have more of this type of concert.

Mac and his family band was exactly what a quiet Sunday saloon stage needed! I have had the privilege to see Third Day over the years several times. I have been a fan for years. However, Mac’s performance was exceptional. His Nee Creation album has been on my playlist since the concert. Not only did he introduce us to his new music but he played tribute to those that influenced him as a musician , Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac. I will say the highlight of the show was when he gave his band a break and took requests from the crowd. Mac singing acoustically songs from 3D was both beautiful and reminiscent of our walk with Jesus. Hearing songs that influenced us and comforted during what would become a testimony. Mac has always been able to welcome the Holy Spirit into a venue. This concert it felt even closer. Thank you sir for sharing your family, your wisdom and your ability to bring us to worship so freely and be prepared to come down from that mountain and NOT SETTLE for ordinary things. Mac Powell, Danny Gokey, Adam Akee all performed short sets (2 hours total) playing old and new songs. Mac even took some requests for choruses of old Third Day songs. Danny had a cool band that played on some songs (preferred these over the soundtrack songs.) Adam played an acoustic version of Promised Land that he wrote! Newsboys were the loudest and brightest, and the sound system was a little overpowering for the venue. Great night of music!

AMAZING PERFORMANCE, just too short. Can’t wait until he’s got his own concert. We traveled a couple of hours with the trucker traffic to see him. This was especially important for our son who, up until now, has been absorbed in the regular rock world. We played Mac’s newest cd driving home in the traffic and loved it!!!

Mac Powell and the Family Reunion never disappoints, and last night's performance was no exception. From traditional Christmas favorites, to songs from their new Christmas album, with Soul on Fire thrown in for good measure, it was a foot stomping, sing along good time, from start to finish. Mac Powell He as always so so sweet. I’ve been his fan for 14 years. This concert was interesting and different from his many others I attend before. The venue was very intimate, very private, he sang songs from third day , and new releases as well. He sang happy birthday to me , which made this one my best birthday yet. I love his music, it really speaks to my heart, In may situations of my life the lyrics of his songs have been words that God used to lift me up. I love his sweet spirit. I’m a fan forever.

First time seeing Mac outside his old day job and it was great. Bought the VIP and got to meet Mac before the show; really nice guy. Higher energy show than I expected, which was awesome. Played a little of everything. Country and southern rock covers, his own stuff, some Third Day stuff. Lots of crowd interaction. I'd definitely go again. Also first time at Headliners, great little venue (little venues are the best!).
