About The Eric Bee
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Eric Bee moved to Austin in 2011 to focus more seriously on his music. By that point, Bee had self-released six solo albums, and two albums with the band he led, Elephant Bones, which had a prominent following on the rust belt.
Upon moving to Austin, Bee quickly met local musicians and started the twelve-piece funk band Whitey on the Moon. After a quick stint in California, Bee returned with new songs, a new vision, and reached out to former Whitey members.
Friendships connected Bee to Public Hi-Fi Studios, and after only two days of rehearsals, he and his band mates spent two days in the studio laying down the new tracks.
The end result is the newest release, self-titled, The Eric Bee. A phonographic voyage of Bee’s personal explorations.
The live act is foaming at the teeth. A pack of wolves, led by a Bee.
