Pearl Jam

A truly amazing concert. They sounded absolutely brilliant is a bit hectic getting there with the buses and the crowds .and coming home. Waiting for over 2 hrs to get on a bus . What was disappointing as when we got back to Broadbeach light rail station there was no light rail going .Buses and buses missed the last light rail service . So everyone was deserted. as such a late time and has to find their own way at 12:50 pm back to Surfers Paradise accommodation. Tram link shoukd of put extra services in to get people home safely.

Eddie announced that it was the 50th NYC show for Pearl Jam, and it was one for the books. Crazy energy as always, and opening with “Garden” at The Garden was a nice touch. The jam with Steve Van Zandt on ‘Rocking In The Free World’ was super hot, and the new tracks fit perfectly in the setlist. ‘Wreckage’ was a big highlight. Awesome in every way, and here’s to the next 50.

The 50th NYC show for the band, and they made it count. Amazing electricity all night, and Steve Van Zandt sitting in for ‘Rocking In The Free World’ was ass kicking. The new album tracks are great, and fit perfectly in their setlist. Yellow Ledbetter closer was a nice finish.

2 hours and 10 minutes playing, the band gave so much it was an honor to be there. Venue? not so much, there were people smoking all through the show and no one in sight to make it right. Plus, not checking coats (so someone could get anything in there). Merch stands sold out of several items and sizes in no time. So either get there early those who are attending or next time, people in the stands, stock up for hard core fans of a major band who want to show/wear their pride.

The song "Black" put me into an emotional state as soon as the first chords resonated through the arena. The anticipation and excitement that had been building all night culminated in this moment, and Pearl Jam did not disappoint. It was a performance that transcended time, tapping into a well of nostalgia that took me back to my teenage years when their music was the soundtrack to so many pivotal moments. Seeing Pearl Jam live has always been on my bucket list, and the experience was everything I had hoped for and more. Eddie Vedder’s voice was as powerful and haunting as ever, delivering each lyric with an intensity that connected deeply with the audience. The band’s chemistry on stage was palpable, and they played with a raw energy that made it hard to believe they’ve been at this for over three decades. The setlist was a perfect blend of classic hits and newer songs, ensuring that both long-time fans and newer listeners had something to revel in. Tracks like "Alive," and "Jeremy" had the crowd singing along in unison, creating a communal atmosphere that was electric. The band's performance was tight and dynamic, showcasing their musical prowess and the reason they have remained relevant for so many years. What stood out most was the sense of connection – not just between the band members, but with the audience. Eddie Vedder’s heartfelt anecdotes and interactions with the crowd made the large venue feel intimate. It was clear that this was more than just a concert; it was a shared experience, a journey through memories and emotions that left everyone in attendance feeling a little more connected, a little more human. The evening was a beautiful reminder of the power of live music and the timeless nature of Pearl Jam’s artistry. It was a night filled with nostalgia and a sense of fulfillment, ticking off a major item on my bucket list in the most spectacular way possible. This was not just a concert; it was a celebration of music, memories, and the enduring spirit of one of the greatest bands of all time.

This was my PJ show ever. Been seeing them since Bridge School 94 mostly Bay Area shows. Halloween 🎃 👻 2000 Shoreline Amphitheater. The infamous Arco PJ and X show. I flew out to Denver for our Birthday show. I turned 40 and PJ turned 24. But something was special about last nights shoe. Amazing

Definitely knew how to interact with the audience and make individuals feel like they were more than a ticket purchase. The last time they played Vancouver was 11 years ago and my mom finally got to see them for the first time, I’m so happy I was able to go for my first time in honour of my mom as the show happened to fall on the first anniversary of her passing and it was such a memorable concert and I will definitely see them again

THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMANCES I'VE WITNESSED among dozens and dozens of concerts, so I felt obliged to describe in detail. Later, I heard that die-hard fans deemed it one of the band's best-ever. It was my first.  Instead of canceling a second show, Pearl Jam went on Wednesday with a stand-in drummer (Josh Klinghoffer - erstwhile Chili Peppers guitarist, longtime Pearl Jam collaborator and much more), as Matt Cameron recovered from COVID. Eddie Vedder's humor and voice, perhaps slightly deeper, were in fine form despite his being under the weather. A couple of songs in, he explained the deal, and the energy level soared as the crowd encouraged the new guy and expressed its gratitude to the band for carrying on. The enthusiasm intensified over 2.5 hours. Lead guitarist Mike McCready leapt all over the stage and showboated, playing a lonnng "Evenflow" solo behind his back and later throwing in "Eruption," providing Vedder a little relief. ("Another Brick in the Wall 2" and "Baba O'Riley" crept into the set, also.) How didn't I know how complicated the leads are? Vedder bantered all evening - he's quite charming. He sought out his Dallas sister in the audience, made a dedication ("Given to Fly") to a NASA astrophysicist also in attendance, and at one point, threw on a sequined jacket and a mirror-ball helmet, on the advice of his daughter, he said - their Swifty attire. He unexpectedly received a disembodied hand adorned with wedding band.  I'm told the '90s-heavy, 27-song setlist was sublimely assembled. Every member, smiles wide, was just digging the whole scene. Communal voices elevated a crescendoing "Black," my favorite. Notably missing to the uninitiated were "Jeremy" - oh well - as well as, alas, "Yellow Ledbetter" and "Better Man." By the time "Alive" (25th) came around, the roof about blew off Dickey's Arena.  Coda: We sat behind the stage, a little apprehensive about it during the opener, Deep Sea Diver, a pretty-good, female-fronted rock band way into distortion. But for anyone wondering, the acoustics were excellent, and the big screens work on both sides, the images reversed on the back. Credit to the videographers' fine work, captured in these pictures. So, we didn't feel like we missed too much, although there was an unfortunate pole smack between us and Eddie. We understood lyrics we never could on the albums. Maybe bc he was sick? Maybe bc of our seats? Maybe bc we were more attuned? Who knows. Who cares. It rocked.

Saw PJ beee in Nashville and the in Louisville the next night!! I’ve seen them 22 times and this was the most special bc both my kids got to see them. What set lists and what shows the boys put on. Absolutely pure joy seeing them!!!

I have been wanting to see Pearl Jam for 30 years, and they did not disappoint. So talented, so musically sound, such incredible love shown to fans. I am sooooooo happy. Even sitting at the back of the stage. The band made sure to look around to us, and perform even to us at the back. Highly recommend. Also learned from a fellow convert attending about Pearl Jam’s fan club Ten. Joined that while at the show!

This concert at imola Ferrari racetrack was my first experience of seeing pearl jam and it was a brilliant show and quite fitting with the venue and thoroughly enjoyed it despite not being a regular listener of their music I do recognise few of their popular ones and it turned helped making it one of the best holidays I have had at the time of writing this

Been waiting to see Pearl Jam for almost two-decades now and they very much lived up to my internal hype. My only gripe was being so far away in an arena… but that still didn’t change my excitement. Such a fun show. Can’t wait to see them again!

It was the opening night of the US tour and had amazing seats thanks to the Ten Club. The band sounded awesome as usual. PJ puts their heart and soul into every performance I’ve seen live. They played for 3 hours. If you’ve seen them perform, you get it.

my 10th PJ show but first in my new hometown of Seattle. seeing them live is practically tantamount to a religious experience but seeing the Home Show and knowing you're helping with our increasing homelessness problem was euphoric on so many different levels. I was surprised at how great the acoustics were at Safeco Field. if you're lucky enough to be in a city where they are playing an Away Show, spend the money and go to the show. you will never regret it.

AMAZING!! I've been to many concerts, but this was my first pearl jam concert. it was almost unreal how well they perform live, it really was an unmatchable experience. the vibe of the whole show was wonderful. Eddie's vocals can't be beat. everyone HAS to see them at least once!!!

It was fantastic! My first PJ event and they played a ton of songs for like 3 hours, but they didn't play Yellow Ledbetter or their Baba O'Riley cover which I was hoping for, but I think that's because they played the next night also, so they saved them. Still a FANTASTIC show and I can't wait to see them again.

It was an epic show!! Some songs so very good that I got chills. The energy that rolls from the band spills over to the audience and we just soaked it right up!! I felt lucky to be part of such an awesome party.

Unbelievably AMAZING show with a Solid mix of old/new music, 3 Incredible covers (Pink Floyd's Mother was Beyond Unexpectedly Impressive), the entire band shifting to the back of the stage to preform to the peeps behind was a tribute to PJ always showing their gratitude to their fans, and being the 24th anniversary of their first concert was the Sweetest icing on the Greatest cake I could have EVER asked for!
