About Jason Forté

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Jason’s musical talents and captivating high-energy sets have led him to support some of dance music’s biggest stars all over the world. Hand-picked to warm up for Avicii on his ‘True’ tour in Colombia in February 2013, in the past year alone Jason has played in Bogotá, Mykonos and Jakarta, supporting artists such as Avicii, Bingo Players, Martin Solveig, John Dahlbäck, and Arno Cost. A local favourite, he has also been a part of the Australia’s largest festival, playing at Stereosonic for the past two years. His first single, ‘Together’, was released in July 2013 was instantly hailed a summer classic, smashing the Beatport charts and collecting consistent radio play on BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM among others, and garnering support by Tiësto, Thomas Gold, David Guetta, Arty, Deniz Koyu, Dada Life, R3hab, Showtek, W&W, Audien, Fedde Le Grand and many more. Following that, his groove bootleg of house classic ‘How Soon Is Now’ received spins from Martin Garrix, Thomas Gold, Deniz Koyu, AN21, Sebjak and Borgeous among others. 2014 saw Jason launch Eclypse Radio, a monthly podcast with frequent collaborators Feenixpawl, to critical acclaim. This was followed up in 2015 by the launch of his own tastemaker label Eclypse Records with Feenixpawl, a label fast becoming renown for its impressive house and progressive house cuts. This year is shaping up to be Jason’s breakout year. His single ‘Blue Sky’ is still receiving worldwide radio play on more than 50 FM stations and extensive DJ support, hitting #17 on the Billboard Charts (and sticking around for 14 weeks), top 10 on US radio (Mediabase), #2 on SiriusXM BPM and the top of the Hype Machine, and clocking up more than 3 million streams on Spotify. Jason followed this up with 'Light The Fire’, released on Hardwell's respected label Revealed Recordings, and championed by Hardwell himself and Tiësto. In January 2016, Jason’s remix of Sydney producers Social Hooliganz hit #1 on the Australia ARIA Club Charts, and their collaboration on Eclypse, BLOW UP (released in April 2016) hit the Beatport top #10, proving that this continued success is no fluke. There is so much more on the horizon for 2016 as well: his upcoming singles have become mainstays in recents sets of Alesso, Dirty South, Otto Knows, Martin Garrix, Sebastian Ingrosso, Hardwell, Tommy Trash, Tiësto, Kryder and Tom Staar to name just a few. Eclypse Events beckons too: the launch of his first international label night is coming soon. One thing is for sure — it’s only the beginning. Big things are still to come for Jason Forté.
