Here is the story on The Saltwater Cowboys.. Marlin James sat in with Wes Jones and Steve Fleming at one of their acoustic shows, The vocal blend and fun factor combined with the fact that they all love playing the same kinds of songs led to a conversation that went like this… "This is cool, we should do it again!, Yes, we should! Ok… what are we gonna call it? Wes says.. How bout The Saltwater Cowboys?!" They added Lyle Ronglien to the mix and Bam! What you have now is parts of 4 different Seattle area bands.. Wes from "The Wes Jones Band" Marlin from "The marlin james Band" Steve from "TruNorthBand" and Lyle Ronglien from "Hiway 9" Those 4 combined with Kat From MJB on Bass and Mo Hargrove or Dan Adams on Drums (depends on schedules really) You have a show full of fun, variety and best part… A BANJO!!!
