David Phelps

It was a magnificent show. David was phenomenal ❤️🎶❤️🎶 he is the best of the best. There is none who can sing like him. The venue was beautiful and all the volunteers were very nice and they helped you if needed. You did an awesome job putting David’s show together…I hope you will have him back again. Thank you for your hard work putting this together. If anyone has not been to one of his concerts I highly recommend it, if he is in your area or within driving distance.

I was not prepared to be blown away! David has such a natural way of presenting Jesus, that you are drawn to Him in such an amazing way! His God-given talent of presentation in a musical way will capture your heart! Our choir was given the opportunity to be a part of the evening and we sang with David in four songs. It was a true honor to do that. The Battle Hymn of the Republic is etched in my heart and soul. Thank you, David, for giving us the YOU that God intended you to be!! Nancy Chandler

What a wonderful evening at the David Phelps concert! His voice is as strong and beautiful as ever, with an incredible range that never fails to amaze. The musicians were exceptionally talented, and the singers blended so beautifully together. He sang a perfect mix of new songs, beloved classics, and timeless hymns—every moment was uplifting. What touched me most was the way he invited people to meet Jesus in such a gentle, sincere, and kind way. Truly a special and meaningful night.

Without a doubt, this was the best concert I have ever been to. David was awesome, the music was superb. The theater was excellent. The sound and lighting were 1st class. But most of all, the program was anointed. I was moved to tears and felt the Holy Spirit in that theater. I brought 3 others with me and they felt the same. I am so looking forward to attending another David Phelps concert soon.

I love David Phillips and his unique beautiful voice. Have attended many many. events and barn bashes. However, that being said, the drums were so loud that I had a really hard time hearing him. I hope the next time I go to one of his events that the drummer will not be so loud that it will out perform him. I will always give him a five star rating. But this four star that I gave him was because of the drums.

This was a great concert!! I was surprised that there weren’t more people there to see him, but the show was awesome, he is such a great singer. I would love for him to book a tour date at Wild Adventures in Valdosta and hear how he sounds on the outside stage. I would also love for him to write a few songs in the style that would make it on the Christian music stations and reach more young people. He has such a wonderful gift and he would be a wonderful witness to the younger generation as well.

I wish I could give a review...unfortunately my daughter and I were ill and unable to make the 4 hour trip to the concert. Another of the 5 for whom we had tickets is a nurse and came down with COVID so 3 of the 5 were not well. I searched for a way to let the "waiting list" know I had tickets available but was not able to figure it out. So....since we are associated with the Red Cross I passed the tickets on to a volunteer coordinator who advised she had gifted them to a Red Cross volunteer family who lives in the area. I have no report of how they enjoyed the concert but we have attended at lease five others and how can anyone do anything but enjoy the best tenor in the world!?

This was the most fabulous Christmas concert that I have ever been too!! The stage set up was beautiful, the song line up was spectacular and the concert was almost a solid 2 hours long. Of course, in my opinion, David’s voice is like no other. I could sit and listen to him sing all day!!! I both laughed and cried during this concert and I left with my heart full and spirits lifted. This concert was just what this girl needed!!! Thank you David and team!!!

David Phelps is always wonderful to experience in person. Everything was perfection but even the best needs to rest and his current pace of events is showing cracks in his voice. His showstopper at the end is supposed to be the grand finale but it fell short unfortunately. We love him and only want him to take care of himself. I get he needs to pay the bills but at what cost down the road?

David was awesome and just over the top!. His voice was clear, smooth, and seems to get better and better with age! I have been attending every concert he has had in my area for years. I loved his selection of songs many bringing back great memories of his earlier days. The new songs were so good and his band and background singers are totally the best. He looks great, love his new hair color and style and physical appearance. Can’t wait to see him again.

This by far was one of the best concerts that I have ever heard David Phelps sing the folks that were with him instrumentally and singing we're fabulous. The entire show was excellent. Although I appreciate the testimony Of the comedian that was with him. I was not extremely impressed by his comedy. I will Attend any local concerts with David Phelps whenever he is local. His new love tour is the greatest. He, by far has one of the greatest voices. I have ever heard and the thing I like most about him he is so humble about it, then gives god the glory and praise for it praise that for singers like David

Dad and Mom came to spend the weekend with us in Morehead. Dad and I were able to surprise Mom last night and take her to see one of her all time favorite Christian Artist, David Phelps. The day before, her and I were riding in the car and I played, We Shall Behold him by Phelps (if you haven't heard him sing, you are missing out) and she sang along, even hit the high notes as she is an Alto singer. 😇 and then put her hands together and said... if only I could see him in person! I had to turn and look out the window so she wouldn't see my tears of Joy that we could do this for her! My Mom has always been my absolute ROCK, always guiding me with gentle hands to Christ! She has loved her family with unconditional love always. She has such a calming spirit about her and I know that comes from her steadfast love for God and her family. These days I am able to spend with her and my Dad since I retired have been a incredible blessing! Spend the time, take the pictures, and most importantly Love your family with all you have! Mr. Phelps at the end of his concert sang my all time favorite, No more night, which was sang by my friend, Kelly Bailey at my son Dylan's funeral. All three of us just cried and sang through the tears as we praised God! Mr. Phelps was given an incredible gift of a voice and I am so thankful that is continues to follow God's calling for him. Micky Bell, clean comedian is touring with Phelps and we all just laughed until we cried! He has an incredible testimony! What a Blessings last night was! Life is short and God is oh so good! Wake up everyday day and Choose Joy, laughter and kindness only God can give!

This was my first time seeing David Phelps and at South Church. It was a fantastic performance and an excellent venue. I was very impressed with the quality of David's voice and his interaction with the audience. I enjoyed his Christian and secular songs; his backup singers and musicians were fantastic! The venue was warm and accommodating, and I would return here for future events. I am starting to watch David's performances on YouTube and downloading some of my favorites. They are very inspiring!!

I absolutely love listening to DP and never imagined I would ever see him sing in person. We came from Nova Scotia, Canada to visit the Creation museum and Ark Encounter and looked to see if he would happen to be around. I couldn't believe he was only an hr drive from where we were. It was amazing. Emotional. Heart warming. Mickey Bell was also there and he did a phenomenal job. I will never forget this and will forever be one of my best memories!

David was so good!! He was amazing!! It's one of those things you don't want to end. His voice just goes above and beyond all else! Anyone would be lucky to see him live and in concert. He far exceeds videos you find online. One day, it would be great to meet him and tell him thank you for sharing your voice with all of us. The songs you write and share are powerful and anointed! Moonlight is and always has been a favorite song as well, even before I knew people put words to it.

I totally enjoyed the concert in Wentzville Sunday night. David doesn't disappoint!!! Too many incredible moments with his voice and his back up singing, and the band wow!!!!! Can't wait to go to another concert. I'm going to have to save up for the barn show in Tennessee. That would be great at Christmas time. Thank you David, for signing my picture of you, and the cds. The music beautifully showcased his range and talent - no disappointment there. What was disappointing: 1) his stage time seemed much shorter than the stage time of the other artists and he was the headliner 2) He seemed very stiff and didn't really engage with the audience - since this was my first time seeing him live, maybe this is just the way he does it - but I was surprised and disappointed since half the fun of a concert is how the artist engages with their audience.

The show was better than I imagined and David held nothing back. We were uplifted spiritually and completely blown away by his voice and talents. The band and back up singers were larger than life as far as the sound quality and variations in musical styles. We heard gospel hits, Nese Dorma, and popular songs which showcased David’s voice well. We loved the halftime event announcing the Holt International Adoption organization. We sponsored two little girls. The only negative thing about the experience was someone was sick with a cough and now me and my husband are terrible ill.

I love David! He has the purest, most unique, and powerful voice I've ever heard! He is likely the greatest living tenor in the world. We all came to know David through the Gaither videos and the Gaither Vocal Band. The show was in a Baptist Church. The audience was comprised of middle aged and senior adults who were no doubt amazed by the versatility of his incredible voice. However, based on my read of the audience and the comments from many who attended, they were disappointed because of the music selections, and the sheer volume. We would have all loved to hear the hymns and southern gospel songs that touch the heart and inspire the spirit within us sung as only David can sing them. He is truly gifted and could use that remarkable "instrument" of his to draw others to the God who gifted him with that voice.
