Nat'l Parks

The Nat'l Parks - featuring Eric Bell, Samuel Velazquez, and Josh Glenn - came into being during the early part of 2012, and spend a majority of their time in/around San Antonio, Texas. Their music combines elements of Classical, Jazz, Folk, Rock and Electronica into highly intoxicating, toe-tapping, hand-clapping, ass slapping aural cocktail. Having said that, they can transition (suddenly) into an extremely minimal, psychedelic infused, folky ambience that will take you to your happy place. Currently, Nat'l Parks are wrapping up their first official album release, titled "As Live As Life Allows", based off a LIVE recording of Josh Glenn on August 25th, 2013 at the Circle School (recorded by Steve Circeo). Sam couldn't make the early Sunday morning show, and unfortunately Eric wasn't plugged into the PA. Douglas Clark found Josh weeks later and left him with a mixed copy of the live track. Upon hearing the clarity and organic structure of the track, It became clear what had to be done. "We need to make an album out of this, and it needs to sound live, because it is!" So piece by piece, we filled in the pockets of sound, until we had this finished piece of work we're proud to deliver to you! Cd release party is February 15th at 502 bar!
