Hargo

Hargo Khalsa – aka Hargo – is a producer & singer/songwriter known for his mind expanding, soul-centered music. His sound is as diverse as his background… raised a Sikh in a yoga Ashram bordering a Native American reservation in New Mexico.

His 2012 debut Out of Mankind was hailed by Billboard Magazine and American Songwriter as "mesmerizing", "anthemic" and "thinking-man's Rock", catching the attention of Beatles producer Phil Spector who dubbed him "a Young John Lennon" during their 2007 collaboration on Hargo song "Crying for John Lennon”.

As a producer, Hargo has made his mark in the Ambient/Meditation genre with more than 15 albums and over 100,000 copies sold. He is also a founding member of electronica duo FEATHERandDOT with his former guitarist & longtime bandmate Sanjay Parekh.

After a 6 year hiatus while touring with FEATHERandDOT, Hargo is making his return with a new album Saturn Return, due for release in early 2020.

Describing his inspiration for this record HARGO says, "In the last 6 years I've gone through more change than any other time in my life. My family fell apart, my band unraveled, I left home, went to burning man, moved to LA, left a tribe & found a new one, lost my heart, found it again, fell in love, moved to Joshua Tree, ‘ran through the fire’ and came out the other side. These are the stories of that crazy, confusing, and also exciting time that I hope will hit home with everyone out there - especially anybody going through their own shifts!"
