Vivek Mahato being the moniker for DJ Vivek, is a versatile DJ from Pune, who has been a veteran of the club circuit in the city for more than 10 years. Having played music over the years to all kinds of audiences, Vivek knows how to exploit opportunities and showcase the best of himself in unique ways. Seamlessly shuffling between genres in the same set has helped him showcase his versatility on the decks.
Let’s put some intro as topping, well! DJ Vivek, a native of Jamshedpur, who resides in Pune is an open format DJ. Vivek’s versatility as a DJ has brought him to be one of the most sought after in the industry. Vivek Grew up with a diverse mix of family and friends where he found himself exposed to all genres of music. This exposure has been a huge part of his drive to create a DJ career based on his love for music.
DJ Vivek has also rocked large crowds & festivals sharing the stage with eminent artists from the industry. He has shared the booth alongside great renowned artists like Ankytrixx, Ash Roy, Calm Chor, Claudia Cazacu, Elena Colombi, Kohra, Moog Conspiracy, Murthovic, Nox Vahan (Anjunadeep), Nawed Khan, Sanjay Dutta, Nosh & Sj, Vinayak^a, etc. and has also graced the after-party for AGNEE (The Band), played at festivals like 1 Republic Festival, The O Pool Parties, to name a few.
As a DJ. Vivek flows all style of music from Rock to Retro, from Hip Hop to R&B, Nu-Disco to House and his sets are an unusual gathering of music material which consists of the multifarious deep house to progressive house style tracks with equal amounts of ease and variety. The aim is to be original, add a different spice on the dance floor and bring in the flavors from the colors back home. He is also known for his smooth transition between the current hits, and the songs you forgot about. Having the ability to blend such a wide variety of music DJ Vivek can appeal to every generation.
Growing up, Vivek was influenced by the sounds of Phil Collins, Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder, U2, Abba, Nickelback, Jon Bon Jovi and Michael Jackson to name a few.
