About COLUMBINE.
industrial love. Columbine is a three piece industrial music act from Detroit, Michigan and currently operates out of their hometown as well as Los Angeles, California. The band started as a collaboration of art between two long-time friends Daniel Columbine and Sevin in 2004. With the help of producer Patrick Elmore, the two were able create a project that musically fit the industrial genre with an extremely theatrical live show. The project put out several short releases which gained attention and would later become a full length album entitled Religious Equipment. In August of 2007 at a show in California, Sevin met Matt Crain. The meeting was during a one-off performance where they shared the stage together in Hollywood. After this coincidental meeting, Crain quickly became Columbine's drummer and third composer in September of 2007. During final production and just after the initial release of Religious Equipment in 2009, Columbine began playing a large number of shows and established relationships with like-minded acts within similar music genres such as Hanzel und Gretyl, Chemlab, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Mortiis, and many others. By 2010 Columbine began packing clubs as a headlining act and also providing support for major national shows. Currently Columbine is completing an upcoming release entitled Deuxality.
