About Arianne

South Wales based singer-songwriter - Arianne - has been playing guitar since 2010, and started singing a little while after. Song-writing came naturally as she loved poetry and storytelling from a young age. Achievements: - In the summer of 2012 she entered her first talent competition, in Cwmbran - reach for the stars, where she performed 'House of the Rising Sun' and won the audience vote and came 1st place by judges choice. - May 2012 she performed at her first festival - The Welsh Perry and Cider festival, in Ynysddu. - Then in June 2012 she performed at her second festival in Tetbury, 'Tetbury fiesta. - She released her first single in December 2012, 'Spanish Lullaby' which was played on BBC Radio Wales, on the Adam Walton show. - Arianne was approached by 'Bulliesout' (an anti bullying charity) to perform at their annual 'Pride' awards ceremony in 2013 at Cardiff City Stadium. - May 2013 Arianne was asked to play again at the Welsh Perry and Cider Festival, (with a change of venue) at Chepstow Castle. - And she played her second year of Tetbury Fiesta in June 2013. - She was accepted into the British institute of Modern Music (BIMM) in Bristol, to study song-writing in the summer of 2013. - In 2014 she entered the South Wales talent competition 'Star Hunters', run by White house Media at the Congress Theatre. She performed 'Jolene - Dolly Parton' with the house band, and an original song 'Sandals and Sun dress', and was awarded first place, with a prize of a single, and a music video. - In September 2014 Arianne released a Live album, which included 5 originals and a handful of covers. Arianne has had the privilege of singing at a number of weddings and parties, and is currently exploring the South Wales Music Circuit, for new venues and events to perform at.
