About Davos - Piano/keyboard sessions, remixes, soundtracks.

Davos T Funk - Biography Davos had his first piano lesson in 1980, his last in 1983, and has been self taught ever since. Now an accomplished producer, live keyboardist and remixer, Davos came to public attention late in 2012 when a video of his performance of a medley of early nineties house classics hit youtube and went instantly viral, notching up over 120,000 hits in the first week and now nearly half a million on youtube alone: Since the viral, Davos' feet haven't touched the ground. With support from Your Own and Korg UK Davos spent 2013 playing out his own brand of piano house to packed audiences throughout the UK, and recently became the first ever live act to play on the New Sonic Stage in Glastonbury's Silver Heyes dance arena. He is also in high demand for studio sessions and collaborations, and has written a single with Shapeshifters, 'Universal Love' feat Natalie Peris, the much celebrated 'Can't Stop' with Doorly and Rae and has been working with Marshall Jefferson, Kevin Saunderson (Inner City) and DJ Driis (Idris Elba). Davos also moonlights as live keyboardist for dance legends K-Klass. 53 gigs and a personal appearance on Rude Tube later, 2014 sees Davos, accompanied as ever by The Northern Project's DJ Ash, hitting the UK festival circuit along with co-writer and MC Mr South from London's AcidHeadZ, playing out upbeat and ever-changing live sets ranging from vintage acid house to modern soulful house jams with a live edge which have had audiences bouncing and reminiscing in equal measure nationwide. Look out for them at the Also Festival, Beat-Herder, Kendal Calling, Strawberry Fields and Glastonbury this year, along with numerous clubs and raves up and down the country. Experienced live keyboardist, sessionist and producer, specialising in jazz, funk, house, downtempo and disco, formerly BigWheel, Davos is now the driving force behind Triggerfunk and an increasingly successful solo performer.
