About the Juggernauts
The Juggernauts (B) have become one of the most important innovative and rejuvenating bands within the (Belgian) Electronic Body Music circuit. Their first EP Phoenix (2013) and the following debut album "The Juggernauts Are Coming" (2016) features club-compatible tunes built on a minimalist foundation of beats, sequencer and shouts.
Just as the dictionary explains the term The Juggernauts, they are an unstoppable destructive force and The Juggernauts' music blasts out of the speakers as an energetic bastion of beats, bass and anger. Few contemporary bands manage to channel the spirit of early EBM as brutally effectively as this Belgian combo. Pounding drum machines and exciting sequences accompany frontman Borg as he screams out all the anger, cynicism and social criticism out of his system.
While The Juggernauts undeniably share the spirit of bands like Front 242 or Nitzer Ebb, they do not fall into the retro or copy trap, but contribute firmly to underground dance music, with a refreshingly hard and modern approach.
With songs such as their proven club hits "Phoenix", “Purge”, “Follow” and “Fear”, the time has come for a real renaissance within Electronic Body Music. Their extremely positive reception of their recently release Fear EP (2023), by the music press as well as by The Juggernauts’ ever growing fanbase, made it clear The Juggernauts’ freight-train is unstoppable still on the roll!
