Carolina Crown is a DCI World Class drum and bugle corps, currently located in Ft. Mill, SC. The corps director is Kevin Smith.
Crown got its beginnings in 1990, first competing in DCI's A Class. In 1993, the corps won the Division II Championship, at which it moved up to Division I, where it has competed ever since. Their 2008 program, entitled "Finis," earned the corps their highest placement (4th) and score (96.800) to date.
Carolina Crown is most often recognized for their lush brass sound.
