About Alatyr
Originally founded in 2013, Alatyr has battled through a variety of line-up changes to become the beast it is today. Taking influences from bands such as Moonsorrow, The Agonist, Opeth, Sylosis, Ensiferum, Lamb of God and many others, the band is finding it's new sound in heavy thrash, progressive, melodic death metal. Alatyr is a progressive melodic metal band based in Bristol that constantly strives to push the boundaries of 'accepted modern metal' in their songwriting, challenging the very lines between sub genres
