Truly. great gig, mix of classic BSR songs plus a couple of ,"Thin Lizzy" songs " Don't believe a word" and "Jailbreak". Also couple off new album "Wild horses" and can't remember the other one. (So shoot me). Ok.!!!. Loads of energy from Ricki and the band on anthemic BSR classics.🥃👍😎

Brilliant Black Star Riders were awesome and I always rated Ricky Warwick, plus they did a couple of Thin Lizzy tracks. Michael Monroe was ok I liked the bit where he got into the crowd near the end. Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons were the band for me cos Phil Campbell is my hero having been in my favourite band Motörhead and doing two of their songs as well. An absolute excellent night

About Black Star Riders
Masters of anthemic rock ‘n’ roll Black Star Riders are proud to announce that their new album, entitled “Wrong Side Of Paradise” will be released by Earache Records worldwide on Friday January 20th 2023. The album is available to pre-order now at earache.com/blackstarriders.
In discussing the album, frontman Ricky Warwick says: “I am very proud of this record, Black Star Riders fifth release and the first with our new and exciting relationship with Earache Records. As with all BSR albums, ‘Wrong Side Of Paradise’ is an anthemic statement of intent, driven by ferocious guitars and thundering drums. I’m a firm believer in the power of positivity, something that echoes throughout this album.”
In addition to the new record the band have some special plans to celebrate their 10th Anniversary next year.
Ricky Warwick: “Can you believe 2023 is 10 years of Black Star Riders … How time flies while you are having fun! We decided to do something special to commemorate this occasion. For the UK tour only, to co-incide with the album’s release, we will be bringing back the legendary Scott Gorham (guitar) and Jimmy DeGrasso (drums) for the dates to make them extra special!”
Black Star Riders start their UK Tour in Nottingham on Feb 13th. 2023 in a tour package that includes very special guests Michael Monroe and Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons.
