Speed Grunge. Mean anything to you? Probably not. FOXPUNCH are pioneering the genre: mixing the speed of Bad Religion, NoFX and AFI with the ferocity of OFF!, Black Flag and Trash Talk. Foxpunch are a three-piece band from Salisbury, South England. Having been together since March 2013, they released two DIY Eps – totalling fifteen tracks – before playing their first show – opening the TNSrecords stage at Strummercamp in Manchester only six weeks after forming. Offers for shows piled in after their debut, playing with other bands started at the same time including Public Order Act from Bristol and These Creeps in Plymouth. After supporting UK82 bands The Mob and Virus, they headed out on tour with Manchester dub-punkers The Autonomads before returning to Salisbury to record their album We Can Win. The band have played 36 shows in half as many months, sharing the stage with some of the UK’s finest underground punk bands such as 2 Sick Monkeys and Revenge of the Psychotronic Man (who Foxpunch have also been likened to) as well as anarcho-punk legends P.A.I.N. and Citizen Fish.
