Es war ein bombastisches Konzert. Louis Cole als unverwüstlich bodenständiges Genie im Skelett Hoodie mit großem Orchester mit sehr sympathischem Dirigent bleibt sich zu 100% treu, grooved brutal am Drumkit, kniet auf dem Boden mit seinem Midi Keyboard und hinter ihm schwebt ein Streichetsatz, bläst ein Bläsersatz mit voller Wucht ins Gesicht des Publikums. Louis hat neben Genevieve (Sängerin seines Hauptprojekts KNOWER) in guter Form einige musikalisch hochrangige Freunde mitgebracht mit sehr viel neuem Material und rührt die Zuschauer zu Tränen, bringt er zum lachen man fühlt die volle Palette, mit verrückten Tanzeinlagen quirliger Backroundsängerinnen. brutalem Funk, sprudelndem Jazz und progressive orchestrale Balladen sorgte er für echte Extase und maximale Standing Ovations. Manchmal wirkte es etwas wie ein großes verrücktes Experiment mitten in der Entstehung aber Louis Cole kommentierte dies sichtlich nervös und gerüht damit, das er dabei sei, sich durch das Konzert einen Traum zu erfüllen und das schon allein für sich selber mache, was aber genau seine Authentizität des ganzen auszumachen scheint. unglaubliche Energie die der Act und alle Gäste auf die Bühne gebracht haben.

The musicians and songs were really really great. Sadly the mixing was a bit off, in my opinion all amplified instruments and voices were too quiet and unclear most of the time. Also I couldn't see half of the stage from second row (seat 18) balcony in the Stadthalle Wuppertal. But all in all it was a super nice experience, would go again anytime.

It was beautiful and I will always remember this evening.

I’ve been a fan of LC for a few years and I’ve always wanted to see him live. Flew all the way from Italy just for this concert and it was amazing! Truly great energy we had lots of fun

Fantastic show. Gevevieve Artadi's music felt so much more impactful live (that could just as easily be my perception). Louise Cole was on fine form despite a couple of glitches with a new looping pedal.😉 Apologies for forgetting names but the bassist and keyboarder were phenomenal players. Massive talent on display all round and the chance to hear Louis Cole play drums Live was even better than I could have expected. I would love a scotland gig next time though as it's a bit of a trek to Manchester. 😉

This man is a musical savant and a one-man show! Thumpasaurus rocked it so hard I lost my mind.

Super funky. Amazing. 4 saxes, 2 flutes, a trombonist, a trumpet player, a guitarist, Genevieve Artadi, another vocalist, and of course Louis on keyboard & drums. Don’t miss a chance to see this guy. Fantastic, high energy show. That real shit.
