Slapdown is a Death Metal band formed in 2013 in Burgundy in France.
First exploring a Nu Metal style, everything changes when the band separates from their singer. More violent, faster and further brutal, it’s with effective and dynamic songs that they welcomed their new singer in 2015.
After their EP called « CULT » released in 2018, Slapdown is about to announce their first studio album « Fundamentally Wicked. » Recorded at the Kohlekeller Studio in Germany at the end of 2020.
With as notable guest Julien Truchan from Benighted, on the title « Born Evil » Which perfectly fits its pig squeals to the unheathly atmosphere and the savage brutality of the track.
The path the band decided to take is that of the most iconic Death Metal bands we in fact know. It’s with enthusiasm and breakthrough that they will release « Fundamentally Wicked » upon the planet.
The band’s lineup includes bassist Nicolas, drummer Olivier, guitarist Vincent and vocalist Estéban.

Le chemin que le groupe a décidé de prendre est celui des groupes de Death Metal les plus iconniques que nous connaissons à l’heure actuelle. C’est avec entrain et percévérence qu’ils feront en sorte de libérer « Fundamentally Wicked » sur la planète afin de déchainer les foules de la scène metal.
