I’ve seen Hayes many times and this was one of the best performances yet. He was accompanied by Noah Jeffries on mandolin and fiddle, with a special appearance by Hayes’ dog, Winnie. The playlist was a mix of old and new, with Hayes’ singing voice in fine form.

The concert was one of the best I've attended.. The BoH really rocked and Hayes joined right in. The venue is great and we had a good seat in the first row of the mezzanine. I would like to go back and see other acts there. There was ample parking and it was a short walk to the venue.
Highly recommend both the performers and the venue!

Great show. This is the 6th time I have seen Hayes and this was another great show. This tour he is performing with a great band, the Band of Heathens, and Hayes is really part of the band, not fronting it. Lots of tunes from their upcoming album and many, many classic Hayes Carll tunes. The sound system was really good and that let Hayes' voice come through clear and clean. They played for almost 2.5 hours with no intermission. Wonderful show, great audience, and good venue.

Hayes Carll and the Heathens were amazing!! Except that they only played for 40 minutes, and then we had to suffer thru the OCMS in order to try and get our money’s worth … it didn’t happen 😖. While OCMS were very talented, it was more like a stage show with an obnoxious front man, instead of a concert! They cared more about the show than the music! … not happy

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this pre-Christmas show. Hayes assembled a great band and the song selection was wonderful. The four star rating is because of opening act, Melissa Carper. Granted, she is a talented bassist, but her voice is tough to listen to. Fortunately, Hayes, Allison and the band were fantastic.

Hayes was fantastic! We needed more of him! Patty’s vocals were clearly affected. Her two opening numbers were hard for the audience to settle into as they were so different from her existing songs. She has great stage presence and her to backup artists were really good and supported her well. I’ve seen Patty 4 other times, this was the first time she didn’t hold her own. She should have brought Hayes back up to do some songs together, that would have blown the doors off. Allison Moore, also fantastic! From our experience, Hayes and Allison should have been the headliner or on equal footing.

What a talented singer songwriter! The entire evening was a collaboration with The Band of Heathens who are superb in their own right. Missed Todd Snider (sending healing prayers), but Allison Moorer, Jamie Lyn Wilson and Bruce Robison supported the bill. The crowd was into the music all night singing along. It was a magical night in Luckenbach.

Ive always wanted to see hayes. Great venue, great sound, great people. While he was on stage still he signed the record i bought of his. He didnt have to but he did. Hayes is a true talent and amazing writer. And he interacted with the crowed unlike the openers. Acknowledging the little kids. Which made their day.

Hayes Carll was great as always!! Our second time to see one of his shows. This was our first time seeing Melissa Carper and her portion of the show was excellent as well. Staff at the facility were awesome! Great show at a wonderful facility. Thank you to all who made the event happen and also the performers and staff for a great evening!

Absolutely loved the show! Hayes’s music has helped me through some rough times in life, so getting to see him preform live was a great experience for me. Somehow, the show was even better than I imagined. I’m grateful to have shared the experienced with everyone there together, joined by a common love for the art. Only thing to do is live it till it’s gone.

Hayes Carll always puts on a great live show. He is humorous and engaging, and he is a seasoned entertainer. The Paramount Theatre is a great venue in which to watch a live show. Hayes' new band is a tight four-piece group that has many years of experience. All in all, the show was a wonderful experience.

Hayes brought a brilliant band to one of the best music rooms in the city and put on a solid show. He led off with new material, then shifted gears into crowd favorites. Although his voice sounded a touch road-weary, his easy patter and sleepy-eyed good humor won the room over. That, and some fantastic songs.

Hayes Carll-Kent Stages 9-3-22
Hayes was a great story teller. He told stories about writing w Guy Clark and RWH, his early career in Houston, Galveston, Austin, rescuing a Great Dane, last time he played Kent Stages and how the Cavs won the championship. Came on shortly after 8pm and played close to two hours.

We had a great time! Margo Cilker and her family band were a polished act. Songs and sound were first rate.
Hayes and band were tight and capable of switching seamlessly from softer acoustic to louder rockabilly. Hayes was a lot of fun with funny stories between his witty songs. More one liners than a comedy show. Thanks for the fun evening. Glad you are back on the road!

Hayes Carll and his band put on an excellent show Friday night at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard. So nice that live music is back. Hayes set included songs from his previous albums as well as from his recent release “ You Get It All”. His band is excellent. If you get the chance go see them.

Just a chill laid back dude and a great musician. The kind that doesn’t take himself too seriously. He rocks and jams, but also a guy you’d want to hang out and drink a couple whiskeys or beers with afterward. Sit back, listen, chill and sip on an old fashioned.

Hayes Carl was outstanding. Though it was my first time seeing him live, I. very quickly felt like an old friend was playing his songs in my living room and making me laugh, cry, and think. Not usually a fan of musicians talking too much but his stories were not only hilarious and interesting but often topical. If you’re not a fan currently, listen to his songs and by all means go to a show. Allison Moorer was wonderful. Hearing her voice again reminded me of my frustration with the music industry. A pure, powerful, pitch perfect voice singing well crafted songs.

Ben Dickey opened and had a nice set of songs. His guitar playing was really cool. He joined Hayes later in the show performing a Blaze Foley song. Hayes and his band were very tight and he covered most of the songs I have heard. He also has funny dry sense of humor when introducing each song with a story. Will definitely try and see him again.

We saw Hayes at the Ark in AnnArbor, MI in '16 and '17. Excellent shows! We came out to see the show at the Blind Pig last night and were totally blown away! To say that your show has grown is an understatement. Hayes, the band, and that venue absolutely kicked ass! We love the energy! Go after that country money, bud! Can't wait to catch up with you again soon. Safe travels.
