About Vuraj
«Vuraj» («Вурай») is a belarusian musical ethnic folk band. The band was founded in 2010 and has so far released three albums and one EP: «Vuraj» (2010), «Songs, Fairy tales and Dances» (2011), «Rajok» (2014) and «Šeść zahadok» (EP, 2015). Vuraj uses purely authentic song material which allows to create absolutely new music compositions of peculiar sounding. Since that time it has achieved popularity in Belarus and other neighbor countries. Also Vuraj has taken part in many music festivals in Belarus, Ukraine, Russian and Poland. Vuraj (pronounced /’vu-rai/) is a Belarusian folk band that blends traditional songs and modern arrangements.
