Faster Red

The FASTER RED are an Italian rock band, formed in Turin (Italy) in 1984, he was active until 1990.
Today the group meets for a series of concerts at the launch of the book and decides to continue to resume their activities.

Founders and members of the group from the outset Roberto Achilarre (vocals and guitar) and bassist Denis Lapiccirella. Various drummers have instead played in the group, among which the first is of great importance Piero Supino, which is still present in the original lineup, then Angelo Cannarozzo with which the band recorded the debut demo Faster Red (1989) that brought the Faster Red small attention of major, and Franco Trunfio and finally in the late 90 Massimo Violato.

The other important member of the Faster is Corrado Pancaldi (guitar and vocals) is still present in the original lineup.

In 2010 with the release of the book "With music in mind, tenax, tenaxound and other stories" by Giacinto Buttigliero published by Editions Neos, the group meets for a series of concerts at the launch of the book and decides to continue to resume their activities.

Taken all the original material is processed and arranged, then inserting new songs in their repertoire.

They are preparing right now and into the late fall will be released first self-produced CD of Faster Red: "84 @ 13" which is really three old version of songs that the group performed in the period from 1984 to 1990 with brand new material.
